Keep Brazos Beautiful Our aim is to eliminate litter, minimize waste, teach the importance of recycling, and improve our community's appearance with the natural beauty of trees, flowers, landscaping, and green spaces. Our programs center on education and providing/coordinating volunteer opportunities.

  8. 8. Wildflower Seeds This month, approximately 8 acres (approx. 350,000 sq. ft) of wildflower seed will be spread throughout the City of College Station. Community Enhancement Funding

Demonstration Garden This Fiscal Year: Irrigation Repairs Clean-up of existing landscape beds Pruning of rose bushes Tree limbs Pine Mulch Planting of 8 flats of perennials directly adjacent to the intersection of Texas Avenue and George Bush East Upcoming Fiscal Year: Soils, bed mixes, mulch Plants (rose bushes/trees) Additional irrigation Community Enhancement Funding

  13. 13. Texas Trash Off Volunteers clean-up the streets of downtown Bryan & College Station for litter and other eyesores. Each year, KBB picks up approximately 37,000lbs of trash or over 1680 big black garbage bags! April 2016 Community Enhancement Funding
