Cleaner burning alternative - Shell GTL (Gas To Liquid)

A safe, biodegradable direct alternative to diesel that lowers emissions and improves air quality.

Certas Energy is the sole distributor of Shell GTL Fuel in the UK. This paraffinic fuel offers a cleaner-burning alternative for use in diesel engines. Suitable for on-road and off-road applications, it both lowers emissions and improves air quality and can be used as a direct replacement for conventional diesel fuels with no modifications required.

The GTL technology lowers local emissions of regulated pollutants: Particulate Matter (PM), Nitrogen Oxide (NOx), Carbon Monoxide (CO) and Hydrocarbons.

LubricantsLubricants are as important to the smooth running of your operations as fuel.

We are a one-stop shop supplying products designed to lower your operating costs and increase equipment availability, with a full range of hydraulic oils, engine oils, greases and other lubricants from leading brands that all meet specifications for Caterpillar, JCB, Sany and Volvo.

Our local technical teams ensure that you use the best-suited products for your equipment to deliver optimum output and lifespan. Technical advice, support and services such as Shell LubeMatch and Shell LubeAnalyst are always on-hand whatever your challenge.

Stock products come in bulk and packed options and delivered nationwide within five working days (with next day delivery available on many items for emergency supply).

AdditivesAdditives help you reduce the cost of maintaining and replacing your machinery, as well as save you money by improving your fuel’s performance and minimising storage problems and waste. The range includes Gas Oil Extra, Anti-Bug Kill, Anti-Wax, Fuel Store Plus and Diesel Power Restorer.

AdBlue®

If your machinery’s engines are fitted with SCR catalysts, AdBlue® helps you to reduce harmful emissions meeting the standards for Euro 5 and Euro 6 and canlower engine operating costs. Our AdBlue® is ISO 22241 compliant and available in a variety of packs including jerry cans, IBCs and bulk.

FuelTrace managementOur FuelTrace telematics (vehicle tracking system) uses GPS technology and on-board diagnostics to give you full visibility and real-time data relating to your vehicles’ movements. This helps you reduce costs significantly by implementing efficiencies and minimising the risk of fraud and misuse. With no penalties or termination fees you can add or remove vehicles whenever you need.

TanksFrom size to dispensing options and security, we’ve got your requirements covered

To meet your specific requirements we offer a range of both plastic and stainless steel tanks from 1,225 to 62,000 litres, circular or rectangular.

Our tanks are available as supply only or can be delivered, installed and maintained. Different levels of dispensing equipment are available with fuel management systems that can automate deliveries through our telemetry devices ensuring total peace of mind for uninterrupted fuel supply. If security is an issue, tanks can be supplied with a fuel management package (including fobs and key codes).

Transportable cube tanksDriving down risk and cost

The transportable cube tank can make your site safer and your everyday operations easier and more efficient, ultimately driving down costs and risk.

Our transportable cube product is also stackable as a 2,900 litre bunded storage tank, which comes fitted with our fuel monitoring system (telemetry) – enabling you to carry on safely in the knowledge that there will always be fuel on site to keep your plant machinery working.

A full range of high-quality accessories including hose reels, nozzles, caps, filters, gauges and diesel pumps. Our tank locks and tank monitoring technologies can also keep your fuel secure as well as triggering automatic top-ups to ensure that you never run out.
