Once again, you have achance to earn extra money by selling old toys, trading cards, clothes, comic books,video games or anything else you think other children would like to buy. Registrationfor the event is $3 per child. The registration deadline is 3/14/08. Lateregistration is $5 per child. Keiki Swap MeetCheck List

1. Collect items to be sold, and determine the price for each item.Price each item individually or group same priced items together.

2. Bring a cash box with small change.3. Bring blankets or a mat to display your items on.4. Have something comfortable to sit on.5. Bring a calculator to make things easy.6. Provide plastic bags for your customers’ purchases.7. Don’t forget your sunscreen, hat, and a visor.8. Bring water and a snack for energy!

Keiki Swap Meet Participant Information

In order to make this a truly fun and educational event for our Keiki, please observe the followingparticipant guidelines:

1. All children who participate in the Swap Meet must be registered and must pay $3 to participate.This payment is non-refundable and necessary for us to produce this event as such a low cost toeach child. Please note that late registration after the 3/14/08 deadline is $5 per child.

2. For safety reasons, all children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Similarly, allchildren must be present to sell their items. This event is designed to be an educational experiencefor children to teach them about money and economics. Adults selling items without a registeredchild will be asked to leave. In addition, no food or drinks may be sold, and all items sold must bechildren’s items.

3. All children must check-in before the start of the event. Only registered children mayparticipate. Check-in and Set-up will begin at 9:00am. The event will be held rain or shine.

4. Due to the potentially large volume of participants, hard copy confirmations will not be sent. Ifyou would like us to send you and electronic confirmation, please provide your e-mail address on theregistration form.

5. At the end of the event, please clean-up any trash around your area and remove any unsold items.The Center must comply with State Park permit regulations and future Keiki Swap Meet events maybe compromised if the park is not left in the same condition we received it in. Also, if you areplanning on bringing a pop-up tent, please note that State Park regulations prohibit the use ofstakes in the ground. Please plan to bring another means to weight down a tent.

6. Parking is located in the Kakaako parking lot. Cars parked along Cooke Street will be towed.
