    Dear Dr Moore

I expect this has been asked many times before so I am hoping you will simply beable to provide me with a URL to a previously released public statement.

A few years ago I saw a video of you on youtube stating the accuracy of the embryonic stages in the Quran. In a number of cases I have seen this kind of thingonly to later find that there was an updated opinion at a later date but one which is not so widely spread.

I'd like to know if your opinions in that video are still the opinions you holdtoday, or if with time you have become aware of new evidence which has changed your mind such as Artistotle's description of embryonic development being available in Arabic at the time of Muhammad's life within his region?

I've seen a lot of people asking this same question and I am hoping to be able to provide an public answer so that nobody needs to continue asking it.

    Thank you for your time.

    Regards

    Pete

    Dear Dr Moore

I wrote to you a while back, I didn't receive a response but also received no notification of my email being undeliverable.

I understand your previous statements are something you might be tired of discussing and also something you are likely to be asked about regularly; which is whyI'd really love to be able to produce a youtube video (where you are featured alot) explaining your current view on your previous statements.

Would you be willing to participate? It would certainly lay to rest the Muslim/Atheist argument as to whether or not you were misled and have since changed yourmind.

I'd like to close by saying that I was almost convinced myself by Islamic claimsof miracle in the Quran, and your testimony was probably the most compelling ofthem all. There are still people to this day quoting you and showing clips ofyou in order to establish their claims of the Quran being a divine revelation.

I hope you will consider my request.

    Regards

    Pete

Dear PeterI thought I sent an email to you, but maybe I did not. I stand by all the comments I made about the Koran. I did not convert to Islam. I was invited to Saudi Arabia to lecture on Embryology and visited all the medical schools there. I am pr

    Hi Keith

Thanks very much for spending the time getting back to me. Congratulations on your (I presume) recent 85th!

I am objective and so will create a video stating that you stand by your comments - I can't go disregarding information just because it wasn't what I expected :) Actually what I expected was that you might say that you had since discoveredthat the Quran's account of embryology was the same as described by Aristotle -are you familiar with the details he gave?

But anyway, thanks again for responding. I expect you must get the same query from time to time, so hopefully my video will go a small way to reduce the numberof queries (I will obviously not expose your email address.)

To avoid the possibility of people assuming that I have concocted the correspondence do you think it would be possible for you to send me a very short (say 5 seconds) web-cam capture of you saying what you said in your email so that I may i

nclude it, or would that be asking too much?

Again thankyou, I appreciate your time greatly.

    Best regards

    Pete (atheist) :-)
