DESCRIPTION

The Kele Kover offers an innovative and effective weath-er protection solution for low-voltage, direct-mount globevalve actuators.

Made of heavy-duty, water-repellent, woven fabric, theKele Kover provides a significant degree of protectionagainst falling rain, sleet, snow, and ice. The light colorminimizes solar heat gain to keep the actuator coolerthan traditional plastic or metal enclosures. The uniquefabric cover is breathable, which prevents condensation.

The Kele Kover can be installed and removed in sec-onds. It is available in four sizes to fit many popular globevalve direct-mount actuators, such as the BelimoNV/NVF Series, the Honeywell ML6984/7984 andML642x/742x Series, and Johnson’s VA4233 Series. Thenew KOV-4 fits the large Q5022 linkage made for dualactuators.

APPLICATION

The Kele Kover is made of heavy-duty fabric, which ishighly resistant to wind, weather, and UV rays. The KeleKover has been tested to the NEMA 3R standard and willeffectively protect a NEMA 2 (IP42 or equivalent) actua-tor from the weather when mounted vertically. The KeleKover fabric is guaranteed for a period of five yearsagainst loss of color or strength from normal exposureconditions including sunlight, mildew, rot, and atmospher-ic chemicals. It is not rated for high-voltage equipment.
