1. The NCAA requires ALL institutions to have an outside entity certify student-athlete’s eligibility.
2. Student-Athletes must be certified as eligible prior to engaging in competition for UWM.
In order to accurately determine a student’s progress towards degree, advisors are asked to confirm:
1. #of credits earned towards the degree (numerator), and
2. #of credits remaining to earn the degree (denominator).
For example: If a student has earned 52 credits towards their degree
AND has 76 credits remaining to earn degreeThe denominator used to determine progress towards
degree is 128 (52 + 76).
PROGRESS TOWARDS DEGREE = 52/128 = 40%
