I think if more people considered it as not just a good thing but an awesome thing, it’ll be handled with more care and responsibility. That’s what CPYF is all about. It’s a platform to equip individuals,

educate them and ultimately enrich their family life. Whatever stage of life you may be at now, it’s all for you!

I often say that the quality of any marriage is determined by the quality of the individuals in it. So that’s what we’re here for. To help enhance you with God’s Word so every thing about you,

especially your family life changes for the better.

My prayer and desire is that this publication and all that CPYF stands for, adds value to you and opens up your eyes to God’s intentions for marriage & the family.

Is it proper for my wife to demand for cuddles or sexual intimacy when I am preparing

a sermon or meditating?

Sexual intimacy should not be demanded; we can only get the best of

it in marriage when it is given and received willingly. Now concerning this situation, it just seems like effective communication would help. Sit her down and let her know that at certain times, you would prefer not to be distracted by sexual advances. However, please be wise with the words you choose to use and your attitude when you have this discussion. Don’t make her feel like a burden to you, and don’t make her feel like she is an afterthought. Explain your point of view to her so she understands where you are coming from because that will help her not to become bitter against you or the work of the Lord. And whatever you do, ensure that you make it up to her anytime you are not available to meet her needs. At the same time, accept that there will be times when you just have to put some

things aside to meet her needs. Please know that it is your God given duty to ensure that she is sexually fulfilled in your marriage (1 Corinthians 7:3) so don’t be so rigid. This is a simple issue that can escalate, if it is not handled with care. A Christ like marriage is aIl about fulfilling the needs of our spouses per time and you have to play your part in order not to give the devil a chance to come in.
