The business is now being further developed, with investment in new plant, equipment and processes and currently has a vacancy for an Electrician to provide support across the business.

The Role: The Electrician will be required to deliver an electrical service in a variety of busy manufacturing environments and working with a range of different types of plant and machinery. The position is based at Kirkby Quarry but will involve travel between sites across the South Lakes.

The successful candidate will be time-served, 17th edition accredited, with an NVQ 3 or equivalent in electrical engineering and a minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, which should include experience of PLC and automated equipment.

In addition to being able to demonstrate technical competence in the required areas, applicants must be enthusiastic and flexible (shift work and changes of location may be required), able to demonstrate problem-solving skills and a commitment to working safely.
