Conversation Club— is a new club where students from various coun-tries can practice speaking English with other students. It will take place on Tuesdays after school in Room 107. Come join our group and you will make new friends and help others learn to speak English fluently. If you have any questions, see Ms. Funk.

LAN Party—The first LAN Party of the year will be on Thursday, November 10th from 2:30 pm to 8 pm. Admis-sion is $5 and $2 extra for pizza. We will be playing games like Starcraft, Enemy Territory, Heroes of the Storm and other Battle.net games. Sign up in Room 201 or Room 115.

FAFSA Night—Gear Up will be hosting another FAFSA Night on Wednesday, November 16th from 1 pm to 7 pm in the Library.

Seal of Biliteracy Test—Do you know English and another language? If you would like to earn the Seal of Biliteracy and World Language Equivalency Credits, sign up for the test by November 10th. The test is on Wednesday, November 16th at Kennewick High at 11:30 am. Please see Mrs. Ville-gas or Mrs. Aguilar if you have questions or visit the Seal of Biliteracy Webpage at www.ksd.org.

Munch Madness 2016 Food Drive—starts on November 14th. This food drives runs for several weeks. Non-perishable food will be collected for each participating classroom. More details coming.

YOU CAN’T GLOW WRONG WITH GESA– Grand Opening starts on Tuesday, November 15th. There will be games (Plinko, Glow in the Tic-Tac-Toe, Ring Toss), free items (portable chargers, chap stick, $5 Dutch Bro Gift Cards), and free candy! On Friday, there will be an Afterglow Lunch with free tacos and an ABC Scavenger Hunt to collect items with the

letters of the alphabet and take pics in front of the GESA Branch. Join the fun!

Scholarship Opportunity— The 2016 Dr. Pepper Tuition Giveaway goes through Novem-ber 30th. They are awarding a $1000 scholarship for stu-dents who are 18 and older. Text GoLions to 737737 to win!

Imagination DRIVES Transit Poster Contest—This year the Ben Franklin Transit Poster contest is encouraging students to be crea-tive and use their imagination. The contest runs through Novem-ber 18th. Students are encouraged to talk to Mrs. Ard about how to enter this contest. The top three winning posters will be show-cased on the side of a transit bus.

KHS Dodge Ball Tournament—is on Wednes-day, November 9th from 5 pm to 7 pm in the West Gym. You can register your team of 5 people for $10 a team or register as a single student for $2 and we will put you on a team. Sign up by the student store at lunch starting
