  • Thank you for answering the call of the Orphans & the cries of thirst emanating from Iraq in place likeKerbala, Najaf, Basra, Al Kurt, Baghdad and across to Iran where Iraqi & Afghan orphans are to be found.

Your response shows the words of Imam Jaer Sadiq a.s saying Every day is Ashura, every land is Kerbala, ring as true today as when they were spoken & will continue to do so to the end of time.

We pray that Allah puts you in the proximity ofthe Holy Prophet in Jannah for responding to the Prophets advise to care for the Orphans, to see what other worthy causes you can contribute towards to make a real dierence to the lives of those who are less fortune than us, all around the world, please visit: www.ladyfatemahtrust.org

THE ORPHANS & THIRSTYOF KERBALATHIS MUHARRAM REACH OUT TO HELP ORPHANS OF KERBALA. Dozen of children are crying within audible distance of shrine of Imam Hussain (a.s.) and Hazrat Abbas (a.s.).

As we commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (a.s.) and his companions let us reach out to answer the cries of orphans today.

The Lady Fatemah (a.s.) Charitable Trust currently sponsors 744 orphans in Kerbala, 250 in Hilla, 150 in Najaf, 300 in Baghdad, 300 in Al Kurt, 160 in Basra together with 210 orphans refugees from Iraq and Afghanistan in Iran.

Hundred more can be helped with your assistance.

WILL YOU ANSWER THE CALL OF IMAM HUSSAIN A.S. BY REACHING OUT TO THE ORPHANS WHO LIVE IN THE SHADOW OF HIS HOLY SHRINE?

Just 30 ($45) a month can ensure an orphan is fed clothed, housed & educated

Help us return hope to these young lives just visit www.ladyfatemahtrust.org

  • DON'T FORGET YOU CAN ALWAYS SPONSOR AN ORPHAN IN MEMORY OF A LOVED ONE OR MAKE A DONATION AS A THOUGHTFUL GIFT FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION.These young eyes were witness to the atrocities that befell the residents of Kerbala and live their lives emotionally scarred and often without one or both parents.

THIS MUHARRAM YOU CAN PROVIDE SAFE & CLEAN DRINKING WATER TO NEEDY FAMILIES.

As a result of several wars and years of summary execution under Saddam's tyrannical rule millions of innocent lives were denied the love and care of their parents.

If our children have a rough day we read them a bedtime story to lull them into sleep, but these children would fall asleep alone only to be woken up to the sound of gunre and exploding bombs to be instantly reminded that they had lost their father or mother or worse still, both.

These young minds must have wondered if this was how they will live the rest of their lives as once again they realise that their loved ones are gone forever.

The Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) highly recommended caring for the orphaned child and you can answer the cry of such a child by oering them some comfort in their traumatic lives.

At a cost of just I 5 per month (just 50p per day) you can ensure that the child is housed (preferably with close family) educated, clothed and fed.

YOUR CONCERN AND SUPPORT WILL RESTORE SOME HOPE FOR THEIR FUTURE.

You can reach out to an orphan in Kerbala today & change a life for the better. The Lady Fatemah (a.s.) Charitable Trust has worked in Kerbala for over I 0 years and has overseen several such projects. By signing the Gift Aid Form you are assured that for every I donated up to 1.28 is actually received by the needy with no deductions made for administration or any other associated cost.

This is your opportunity to help quench the thirst of needy families in and around Kerbala in memory of our beloved Imam (a.s.) who was martyred thirsty. In the current crisis Cholera is spreading to vulnerable Iraqis in the aected areas.

The LFCT has been seeking a solution to helping this epidemic and nding an appropriate solution for bringing water to communities across Iraq, including the Marshlands.

At present, these vulnerable communities have no option but to drink dirty water, used by animals to swim and defecate in. A solution was sought that would work with the geography of the region.

A MORE PERMANENT SOLUTION IS URGENTLY REQUIRED.The Trust has started working in partnership with LIFESAVER Systems to provide a more permanent solution to providing safe drinking water. Through LIFESAVER jerry cans, contaminated water can be ltered with the pump of a handle. LIFESAVER's unique technology lters all waterborne pathogens without the need for chemicals, power or UV light. They are intuitive to use and cost just 0.01 per litre of clean water or just 204 per jerry can.

PLEASE DONATE GENEROUSLY TOWARDS THIS PROJECT. In addition to saving an average family of eight persons from contracting cholera with a box of tablets and a water storage and treatment container, you will also help to prevent the spread of the disease and indirectly save countless others. This includes communities from neighboring countries frequenting Kerbala for ziarat during Muharram. They too are susceptible to this deadly contagious disease.

IMAM HUSSEIN (A.S.) HAS ASKED HIS FOLLOWERS TO REMEMBER HIS THIRST WHENEVER THEY DRINK WATER.Even in this day and age, Cholera, is a life threatening and highly contagious water borne disease, frequently found all over Iraq.More than 1,000 suspected cases are being treated in Kerbala with over 25 fatalities having occurred this year. The Iraqi Ministry of Health has thus far, no centralised prevention eorts planned.Since the fall of the previous regime the Trust has worked to provide access to clean water to communities in Southern Iraq
