PROJECTS Mini Project: Automatic pneumatic bumper system for four wheelers
The objective of this Project is to reduce the impact of damage to the vehicle. Also to alert the pedestrians who are about to get hit while parking the vehicle.
Main Project: Design and optimization of Silent chain assembly line
This project aims at designing and optimizing the operations carried out earlier by the industry and replacing them with effective mechanical operations.

INPLANT TRAINING:
Integral Coach Factory, Perambur - Got the exposure on how machining process are done on a large scale. The process of converting sheet metals in to a fully furnished coaches through separate shops were seen. (Submitted a report at the end of inplant training)
Perambur Carriage Works (Southern Railway) - Corrosion study over the wagons were done. (Submitted a report at the end of the training)
Port of Chennai – Study over the types of engines used in tugs and locomotives. Also learnt about the cranes used in harbor.
SKILL SETS Programming languages: Basics of C, C++ and HTML. Operating system: windows Packages: Microsoft Office Design Softwares: Nx 8.0, Creo, AutoCAD, Ansys.
