I am pleased to present the 2005 Annual Report of the
Boise Fire Department. With 15 fire stations strategically
located through out the City to support our level of
service, we have a presence in or near every
neighborhood in the City.
The members of the department are committed to ensuring that Boise is a safe and vibrant community.
We are committed to providing the best service possible to our citizens and visitors. We face a variety of
challenges every day, but we prepare, train and plan to meet those challenges.
Our approach to providing the best service we can is based on our pledge to be quick to respond, to be
skillful in what we do, to always be caring of those who summon us, to use what ever resources we can and to
always be the professionals that our City can be proud of.
Our value to the community is judged by the quality of service we provide. It will always be our goal to meet
our citizens’ needs by providing efficient, effective
services whenever and wherever they are needed.
