What does LAMP stand for?

Linux – An open source opera�ng system strongly featured on web based servers. Cross-pla�orm compa�ble and highly reliable, it is what enables the rest of the LAMP components to func�on efficiently.

Apache – The web-server used to interact with the Cm3 Applica�on.Open source and the server of choicefor a majority of web based systemsas it provides excellent stability to the applica�on.

MySQL – A Rela�onal database management system. Highly capable and able to run enterprise level sites with significant levels of complexity. The featured data storage system used by many of the largest sites on the Internet.

PHP – An established, mature open source language used to interact with the MySQL database and write the dynamic content of the applica�on.

Server-side, Cm3 is hosted at anenterprise level data centre inMelbourne with a secondarybackup data centre located inSydney. Both data centres implement standard physical and environmental security including controlled physical access, 24x7 security guards, redundant u�lity services, backup generators, raised pla�orms and mul�ple networkconnec�ons.

The hos�ng environment of both data centres is cloud based providing flexibility and mul�ple layers of hardware redundancy. The environment can quickly scale to meet increase in demands without requiring further hardware migra�on or physical installa�ons.
