From the onset they were not able to keep up with the high standards we demand and after deciding to leave they were successfully replaced by existing Julius Rutherfoord staff. Only one original member of staff has remained with us and after spotting great potential in him, he was promoted to Site Supervisor. Three years later, his outstanding management skills have earned him further promotion and he’s now one of our Area Supervisors and our clients absolutely love him. More importantly, Julius Rutherfoord has transformed the standard of cleaning and received numerous accolades from the residents and the Client. We have also been informed that where Tenant Surgeries were 90% dominated by cleaning issues now cleaning is raised on the Agenda and immediately passed over as there are never any cleaning issues.

Dealing with an inadequate inherited workforce

One of the greatest challenges that Julius Rutherfoord faced during implementation of this contract, was the

inherited workforce which proved to be inadequate. From the onset they were not able to keep up with the high

standards we demand and after deciding to leave they were successfully replaced by existing Julius

Rutherfoord staff. Only one original member of staff has remained with us and after spotting great potential in

him, he was promoted to Site Supervisor. Three years later, his outstanding management skills have earned

him further promotion and he’s now one of our Area Supervisors and our clients absolutely love him.

More importantly, Julius Rutherfoord has transformed the standard of cleaning and received numerous

accolades from the residents and the Client. We have also been informed that where Tenant Surgeries were

90% dominated by cleaning issues now cleaning is raised on the Agenda and immediately passed over as there

are never any cleaning issues.
