I am one person who loves and have passion for designing. I acknowledge that when it comes to being an artist, we learn everyday. I am looking forward to learn more about designing and simplifying visual communication.

When you hear the name ‘Kgahliso Serithi’, a thought of a dynamic, friendly and professional creative will be provoked. I strive for simplicity in visual communication and make sure that I deliver what the client’s needs than their wants. I am looking for the most unique of opportunities – one that requires innovative leadership, decisive action and impressive results. I am not interested in a “status quo” organisation. Rather my goal is an executive-level assignment where vision trend-setting, problem-solving and strategy are key to success. I want the experience, the ethics and the strength of character to build, lead and conquer.

CLIENTTree HousePROJECTBrand IdentityBRIEFBranding is the result of dialogue between consumer and producer. Brand’s strength rests

upon close correlation between the image the brand creates through the process of branding

and the reception of that message by the consumer.

With the recent explosion in businesses in and around Eco Park Centurion, one company

has decided to build an eco-friendly hotel within the heart of Eco-Park’s business district.

The hotel will accommodate travelling businessmen and woman who attend meetings and

conferences at nearby companies. The hotel is an eco smart, eco-friendly establishment with

emphasis placed on affordable, luxury and incorporating organic materials.

TYPOGRAPHY

This brand is modern and clean identity. However, it uses three typefaces and various weights supplied. The typeface Calibri is the main font family, appliead all over the branding, Harabara and Basic Title Font are only applied on the logo to visually structurise the brand image. All these typefaces are supplied in the Open Type format and they are significantly supported by pc and mac.

SLOGAN

This brand has a self explainatory catch phrase that sipmplifies communication to the

consumers and the target audience.

Packaging is the process of placing an object, generally a company product, into a container. Packaging serves a variety of purposes for both the company and the consumer. The most obvious purpose of packaging is to physically protect the product inside. Packaging can be made to protect the product from extreme heat and cold. It can also protect the product from weather, such as rain and sunlight, during transport. Packaging can also help transform bulkcommodities into sizes that are more suitable for individual use. Another important purpose of packaging is marketing. Attractive packaging will help draw more customers and will encourage more purchases of the product. Since the bulk of all purchase decisions are determined at the store shelf, the first priority of your packaging should be to account for the reality shoppers experience there. How well you’ve designed your package to account for what the shopper sees, thinks, and reacts to while in your section can positively or negatively influence sales performance on a daily basis.

The logo is dynamic and it is easy to associate with. This makes you feel like you know them because they a good tone and persona. Furthermore the name sells itself to the audince. The logo is design to be big and appear prominently on most mediums. The logo is mature but also aggressive and sharp so that it can appeal to its target audience. The logo has a tone design which resembles good use of sharp points and striking shape to keep it busy but not overdo it. The typography used on the logo has is derived from a san serif typeface and has a drop shadow effect that will instigate the energetic creative lifestyle of the youth. The shading on the do not only communicates good design but also the depth of the brand.

The colours I used for Capital Brew logo are black, white and grey. The black colour is prominently used on the background of the few elements of the identity. It represents the fancy stableness of the brand and it is mostly appreciated by men because of its dimness but girls will also appreciate it because it stylish. The white it is a fun colour and deliberately complimentary to black, it represents cleanless and appeals more to hygiene people. Black, white and grey are used for shading and highlights but more to give the identity some balance.

TYPOGRAPHY

This brand is vintage and minimalistic. An advantage was taken by mixing different styles of typography, Didot LT Font from seris styles and Neutral Display Font from the modern style of sans serif. The Didot LT Font is highly applied on the logo and the Neutral Display is main applied on body text and other parts fundamental of the identity design.

SLOGAN

Incorporated with the logo, the slogan talks about being trustworthy and having lot of

experince in the field of craft beer engineering.
