Following the huge success of last year’s campaign, the 2020 Buy Local is set to again encourage the support of local businesses and local spending at a time when its needed most.

All you have to do is spend $50 or more in any one transaction at a participating business to go in the draw to win one of the prizes on offer. To ensure the money stays local, this year the prizes will be in the form of vouchers to be redeemed

at participating businesses. It’s not just customers that will win, there are also prizes on offer for businesses participating in the campaign.

What is your favourite country that you have travelled to?Monica – Hands down Chile. What a pleasant surprise I found it to be incredibly safe, clean, the people were amazing, the food (and pisco sours) were sensational but most of all it was the natural beauty of the country that stole my heart. From the rich colours of the Atacama Desert up north to the dramatic vistas of Patagonia down south, I was awed at every step.Peta – That’s a tough one. I love different countries for different reasons, but Tanzania would be one of my favourites as I got to climb and conquer Mount Kilimanjaro. That was one of the most gruelling physical and mental challenges of my life, but certainly one of the most rewarding. Tanzania is a spectacular country, and words won’t do it justice – you should experience it for yourself!
