"Kick Start Spring With Cherry On The Cake"Hello all,

By the way this is Heidi's Daughter Amber, who will be writing this weeksNewsletter. My Mum is happily cooking at this current moment in time so Ithought I would give Cherry On The Cake's loyal customers an insight in whathas been going on in the past month or two. Time has flown by since my mumslast issue so there definitely had to be a Spring Newsletter written by myself. Ihope you like it!

A Newsletter to KICK OFF YOUR SPRING! Hasn't it been such lovely weatherthis week, so to add to your happiness I thought I would write a Newsletter to youto show the great range of cakes, cupcakes and parties my Mum has recentlymade these past few weeks.

As usual my Mum has been unbelievably busy full of new ideas, designs andcreative themes for my Mum to experiment with, resulting in magnificent piecesof work, lots of fun and some fabulous comments from you. I have selected myfavourites over the past week to show to get you in a Spring mood.

Fantastic Football

Making this cake took my Mum hours witheach individual detail to include and I think itlooks amazing. The handmade figure of Dan,with his football team scarf and obviously thefootball made entirely out of cake!

Every single thing you can eat!!! (apart fromthe candle and the cake board) :)

Cherry On The Cake hope that Dan had alovely birthday and enjoyed cutting into thefootball cake to reveal another surprise of littlechocolate footballs that rolled out when it wascut!

One of my favourite things this week hasbeen walking passed a mini hill near ourhome, filled with daffodils which come outfor 3-4 weeks every year,which is when Iknow that Spring is definitely here. Thesun hits the bright open yellow flower andit just brightens up my day! They are sobeautiful that I can't help myself but tosmile. We have some in the hall too invases. I just love flowers with their boldcolours that attract you.

And this cake I love too with this cutecake pot and handmade flowers withshading. The effect of bark on the icing iswell cool as I love different textures as itadds different dimentions. A lovely springfeel cake for any occasion!

Another gravity defying cakeorder! These are very popular andare made with some magic as youcan see.

A really fun cake for my mum tomake, I could even hear my mum'singing' whilst making this. (Itsnormally the big cakes when mymum 'sings' at the top of hervoice)

This cake is almost all edible apartfrom the 'magic' part. All of it ishandmade.

We have heard that Riccardo wasdelighted with his cake and didn'twant to cut it ! Cherry On The Cake hope thatyou had a lovely, magical birthday.

Lets get back to Spring. Theclear blue sea shimmering inthe sunlight with lots of yachtsand in some cases PirateShips. I am writing this as thecustomer is just collecting thisorder for her 3 year old sonJavier. They were both thrilledwith the Cake and his smiledefinitely proved that.

Most of it is edible apart fromthe sail and the pole holdingthe sail but everything ishandmade and edible. Mymum was chuffed with thiscake and the outcome of itwas super awesome.

Fabulous Fishing

This cake is just uber adorable. The little handmadeducklings, fish and figurine. Lots of grass amongst the fisherman, which alwaysreminds me of spring. The first time when you smellthe freshly cut grass it's just divine (unless youhave hayfever). This cake is funny and so clever.
