Thank you, IT Department!

Celebrating Finance and Accounting Appreciation Week!

We want to recognize our Finance Department in honor of Finance and Accounting Appreciation Week! The roles and responsibilities of our Finance Department are many, and this amazing group goes the extra mile to keep our health system running. Thanking this group always for their hard work!

Happy Surgical Tech Week!

We have a lot to celebrate this week, including our surgical technologists during National Surgical Technologist Week! If you have ever wondered how operating rooms seem to run smoothly, surgical technologists are the answer. Some of their responsibilities include properly setting up the room, preparing equipment, and assisting physicians during surgery. Thank you to all of our surgical techs for your compassion and commitment to healing others!

This week, we celebrated National Information Technology (IT) Professionals Day, a day we are happy to recognize the faces behind our IT Department! Our IT Department has an essential role to play in assisting staff to manage and care for patients. From managing clinical software and other processes that help us keep patient records and admissions systems going to ensuring procedure rooms and hospital departments run smoothly, our IT Department is critical to what our health system does every day. Their job is a serious one, but as you can see, they keep us laughing while making sure our technology works! We appreciate all they do for our health system!

Let’s hold each other accountable with our department huddles, and have some fun! Take a selfie of you at your weekly department huddle, and email it along with your name, department, and your key takeaway from your huddle to Brittany Simers, OZH PR Department, at [email protected] by Friday at 9 a.m. for a chance to win an OZH prize! A winner will be drawn weekly.

There are also now two Peloton bikes in the Wellness Center! All you have to do is create an account on screen (or login if you already have a Peloton account), chose your class and ride. If you have any questions or need help, feel free to reach out to Sarah James, EZ Niles, or Lindsey Thompson.

Our IT Department is here to share some helpful tips that can help you in your journey as an OZH coworker! When you call the help desk for computer support one of the first questions we will ask is “What is your computer name or number?” If we know what your computer name is we will be able to quickly connect to your computer to see the issue you are having without you needing to describe it to us.

Every Ozarks Healthcare computer has a unique name. It is located on a barcoded property sticker that is located on the computer tower or on the palms rest of laptops. If you are unable to read or locate this sticker please email [email protected] and we will create a new sticker for your computer. If you have any suggestion for future IT Tech Tips, please email Nathan Dutton at the Help Desk at [email protected].
