Recruitment
OSC Volunteers
• April 27th – May 25th, 9am – 2pm, multiple sites/day
• Designated sites each Saturday for:– Tires & lead-acid batteries– Metal appliances– Yard waste
• Arrive prior to 8am + staff thru 3pm
• Around 8am meet with truck driver to set up site
• Between 8am – 8:30am meet City Inspector (safety cones, vests, & event packet)

• Set up safe place for volunteers to check in + ensure everyone wearing safety vests
• Do NOT accept items before 9am + cut off line at 2pm
• Volunteers = greeters, direct traffic, walk the line & check in with people, hand out items, monitor recycling/reuse, etc.
• Residents expected to unload, but volunteers can help at their own risk
• Truck drivers are not contracted to help unload
