Have you ever wanted to be a superhero like Batman or Dora the Explorer? Well, you can!
The Bible says that it’s not just adults who can do super awesome things for others—kids can too!
Here are just a handful of ways you can be a hero in your neighbourhood, family and church.
Help me find my superhero outfit!
“Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” —Philippians 2:4
“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.” —Proverbs 31:8
“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.” —1 John 4:7
YOU WILL NEED:• 8-10 wooden sticks from ice blocks or a craft shop • masking tape• textas• a Bible verse
DIRECTIONS1. TAPE TOGETHER THE STICKS
Line up all sticks lengthwise so no gaps show between, and put two strips of
masking tape across them.
2. ADD A BIBLE VERSE
Flip over the cluster of sticks and use a dark-coloured texta to write the name of a Bible verse across some of the sticks. Choose a verse about kindness below or
read the Bible to find different verses!
3. ADD YOUR ART
Use brightly coloured textas to draw a colourful picture in the rest of the space on the sticks. Make sure every stick gets some
colour on it.
4. MIX UP THE PUZZLE
Flip over the cluster of sticks and remove the tape. Turn the sticks back over and shuffle them. Now try to put your puzzle back together!
Heroes always show kindness to others,
starting with our friends and family. Have fun
making and decorating this puzzle, then give
it to someone you care about.

Praying is a great way to help others, like children
who live in poverty around the world. This week,
say a prayer each day for children who are in need
of food, school books, medicine or clean water.
