Legacy Sports & Events was founded in January 2013 by David Moreland (PGA Golf Professional) and Carl Windley (USPTA Tennis Professional). David and Carl have over 25 years combined experience in sports coaching and management, with both of them residing in Qatar for the past 13 years.

Through their involvement in sport in Qatar, David and Carl realised the need for more sports related activities during the school holidays and immediately set about developing the Legacy Sports Holiday Camps. After running very successful programs during Summer 2013 & 2014 the camps have continued to go from strength to strength.

Introduction

We have a host of activities in store for the children during the camp. Children will participate in a mixture of sports and arts & crafts activities daily with no two days being the same. Our programs are specifically designed to suit different age groups combining an array of fun, educational and skill learning activities. Our experienced sports coaches and teachers will aim to make each session fun and informative and the Legacy Management Team will always be on hand to assist and ensure that safety procedures are adhered to.

Age Groups We accept children ages 4 – 13 yrs who are then placed into age specific groups the same or similar to below: • 4yrs • 5yrs • 6yrs – 7yrs • 8yrs – 9yrs • 10yrs – 13yrs The general daily format for the children is the same but the content of the sessions is varied dependant on the age group Daily Activities 2 x 45 min Sports sessions 2 x 45 min Arts/Crafts sessions 1 x 45 min Swimming session 2 x 20 min breaks

Drop of & Pick up •  Entry to the school is through the main security gate •  Camp reception is in the sports hall •  All children will be signed in & out from the sports hall What’s included? •  Camp Shirt – All children attending the camp for 3 days or more

Legacy Management Team David Moreland - Co-founder & GM of Legacy Sports David has been a PGA Golf Professional for 19 years (12 years in Qatar). He was the Director of Teaching at Doha Golf Club from 2001 – 2006 where he established the Qatar Golf Academy before becoming Director of Golf in 2007. David formed Legacy Sports and Events in Jan 2013 with business partner Carl Windley.   Carl Windley – Co-founder & Operations Manager of Legacy Sports Carl is a USPTA Tennis Professional and came to Qatar in 2001 as Director of Tennis at the Doha Club. Carl is an all-round sportsman who represented his county in Tennis, Badminton, Basketball as well as playing semi-professional football. Christian Mata – Swimming Coach AUSTSWIM Licensed teacher of swimming water safety - Mar 2012 AUSTSWIM Licensed teacher of competitive stroke - Mar 2012 Christian has worked as a life guard and swimming coach in Qatar since 2008 and he brings with him the experience of working with AISS Qatar (Hamad Aquatic) and Fitness Qatar (West Bay). As a member of the Philippine National Water Polo team he represented his country in the Arafura Games in 1994 (Guam) and 1996 (Perth) Additional sports coaches, sports assistants, art teachers and art assistants are employed to help run the camps. There will be a lifeguard and trained first aider on site at all times

Policies & Procedures If you are new to the Legacy Holiday Camps we will send you an emergency contact form to complete. Please return this by email to david@legacysportsandevents.com or make sure that you child brings it with them on their first day of camp. General Children to bring their own snacks and lunch – No nut products allowed Water will be provided but children should bring their own refillable bottle Children should wear sports clothing and bring swimming suit plus towel & sun cream Please provide children with a change of clothes Bad behaviour will not be tolerated and children may be asked to sit out of activities if they are found to be disrupting the group Children to enter Compass International School – Madinat Khalifa through the main security gate between 8.00am-8.45am and head to the sports hall for registration All parents/guardians must check the children in & out from the sports hall Parents can collect their children from the Sports Hall from 1.30pm – 1.45pm   Safety   Parents should complete and sign the attached emergency contact letter, list any medical conditions and ensure that children bring any necessary medication In case of a fire all children will be directed to the muster point until the situation is deemed safe by the Legacy Management. Fire exits will be highlighted in each venue and all children will be briefed on the fire drill procedure during the camp welcome. Parents should inform the Legacy Management of any concerns regarding use of the pool. There will be a qualified swimming instructor and lifeguard with children at all times. Children should bring any swimming aids required such as arm bands or floats if required. There will be first aid trained staff on site at all times In the event of an emergency, parents and guardians will be contacted immediately and an ambulance called if required.

Payment Policy   All payments must be made online, by bank transfer, card, cash or cheque (Legacy Sports and Events) in order to secure camp places If places are still available for any of the camps, reservations will be taken on a first come, first serve basis and the place will not be confirmed until payment has been made   Cancellation Policy

•  Cancellations made more than 2 weeks of in advance – 100% refund •  Cancellations made between 1-2 weeks in advance – 50% refund •  Cancellations made within 1 week – No refund •  In cases of illness during the duration of a camp, reimbursement will be considered on an individual

basis by the Legacy Management
