After pressing the power button, rotate the large, outerknurled dial on the right hand side of the prism untilboth lights are visible at the top of the focusing screen.If both lights cannot be gotten to light up at the sametime, go for slight over exposure by having the right
hand light lit up. The exposure calculator dial is now setso you can select the exposure setting combination youdesire.
6. Decide which shutter speed and f stop combinationyou wish to use from the calculator dial and set theshutter speed and f stop settings onto the camera andlens.
Note: The metered prism is in no way automatic, orcoupled to the camera, so all settings must be set intothe camera manually and separately.
7. An important note. The prisms come with a rubbereyecup. It is strongly advised that these be used, as lightentering the eyepiece of the prism can adversely affectthe meter reading causing incorrect exposure settings.
