JULY PRAYER FOCUS

JULY 2017 PRAYER FOCUS: THE VISION AND YOU

SCRIPTURE REFERENCES: Luke 6:23; 2Corinthians 9:1-15 (to get a full picture of what is happening in this chapter). Focus verses 6,7,8,10. Matthew 6:33. As you seek the Lord for your part(financial) in the vision, allow Holy Spirit to minister to you. There is always seed time and harvest time (as long as the earth remains). Also allow Holy Spirit to reveal everything in your life that is a waste ----- a waste of time, ener-gies, thought life, words and resources.

Because we are in Christ, Abraham’s blessings are ours. Galatians 3:29; And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. Under the New Covenant, Abraham’s blessings are ours; threefold in nature: spiritual, physical

and material.

As we give (sow) into the vision, not grudgingly or of necessity, as we purpose in our hearts, God is able and willing to make all grace abound toward us that we will have sufficiency in all things.

*As believers, we are: 1.Not able to give anything to God that did not originate with God (Romans 11:33-35).2. Called upon to be diligent in business (Romans 12:11). 3.To Be responsible toward financial obligations (Romans 13:6-8). 4.Know that Love must motivate giving (1 Corinth.13:3) 5. Practice consistent and systematic giving (1 Corinth. 16:1-2) 6.Know Giving is a grace that can be exercised in the midst of chal-lenging circumstances; Jesus is our example (2 Corinth 8:1-9).7.Know that God wants all of us to do our part in giving (2 Corinth.8:14-15). 8.That God wants His children to prosper (3John 2). 9.Know that some believers operate in a special grace of giving (Romans 12:6-8).

AS YOU SOW INTO THE VISION REMEMBER: GOD IS ABLE TO MAKE ALL GRACE ABOUND TOWARD YOU; YOU WILL HAVE ALL SUFFICIENCY IN ALL THINGS.

Fast as Holy Spirit leads

JULY 2017 SECURITY TIPS

Keeping Your Young Children Safe Parents always worry about the safety of their children, but you’ll have greater peace of mind if you follow these sugges-tions:

Make sure your children memorize their full names, address in-

cluding city and state, and phone with area code.

Using a play phone, teach children when and how to dial 911 or 0

and also show them how to operate a cell/pay phone.

Explain to your children that they should never accept gifts or

rides from people they don’t know well.

Teach your children to go to a store clerk, security officer or police

officer if they ever get lost in a store or mall or on the street.

Set a good example by locking doors and windows and checking

to see who it is before opening. •Always leave a phone number where you can be reached along

with numbers for neighbors and emergency services right by the phone.

•Have your children check in with you when they arrive home.

•Set rules for having friends over when you are not there and for

your children going to friend’s home when no adults are present. •Let your children practice operating door and window locks.

•Explain how important it is not to let anyone into the house without

your per-mission. •Teach them to not reveal on the phone or at the door that no

adults are home, but to instead say parents are too busy to come to the phone or door.

•Rehearse the home fire escape plan with your children.

•Listen to what your children say about their fears and help them

understand them, trust their opinion.

Andrew Newton, Chief Security Officer
