Former Vice Chancellor, University of Pune
Indian Higher Education is changing. This change for the knowledge society in
India is led by KilT University. In this University we work very hard to provide up
to date information and methodology to synthesize knowledge for this
information. We also believe that 11doing" is very important component of our
education. Therefore, along with the classroom didactic lectures, (broadband 1
GB connectivity, laptops and set of text books to every student) we provide
laboratory facilities where students learn to design experiments and analyze
data to reach conclusions of practical importance. To achieve this, we have
employed teachers with high qualifications and experience in industry and
academy. They are also involved in research projects with grants from India and
International agencies Students are provided with on the job training and are
given training in the finishing schools so that in the last semester our graduates
are selected by the best companies through campus interviews. In fact almost
100% students get jobs through campus interview and many of them are
selected by 3-4 companies.
The choice based credit system in the KilT University provides the required
flexibility to the students to develop their creative as well as analytical ability.
We have excellent sports facilities and large number of cultural, scientific and
technology student clubs, the membership of which is open to all students.
These activities help for balance growth.
Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), a sister institute of KilT University,
where more than 15,000 tribal students gets free education, free stay, food ,
clothing, books, etc. provides excellent opportunity for the KilT students to
become socially conscious and take up society relevant projects.
KilT University is committed to provide you holistic education and deserves
highest considerations as you explore various avenues of professional
education.! invite parents to visit our website and help the ward in making the
right decision. The first step is to appear for the KilT Entrance Examination
(KIITEE) and pass with high marks. KIITEE is the only examination in the world
which is free to eligible students and is offered at multiple centers in the
country and abroad.
I wish all the students those who are appearing for KIITEE a success and heartily
welcome those who decide to join various programmes at undergraduate and
postgraduate level including Ph.D in this University of the 21st Century.
