&PrEPPycLaSSIc SuMMEr funThe Kingsland Summer 2014 collection is, if we dare say so, one of the

best summer collections ever made. We are so excited to present the

fabulous garments and horse gear to our equestrian friends all over the

world. We always strive to give you the very best and we hope you find

outfits for this summer season that you will love and wear with pride.

All the photos for this great catalogue were shot at Gestüt Prinzenberg in

Germany at the beautiful stables and estate of Dietmar Gugler. We always

travel to the most fantastic locations to do the Kingsland photo shoots

and Gestüt Prinzenberg was no exception with it´s wonderful horses and

helpful staff.

Kingsland rider Angelica Augustsson has had Gestüt Prinzenberg as her

home base to train and work for several years and all of us at Kingsland

wish to thank Angelica, Dietmar and all the grooms helping out during

the shoot.

Summer is the definite peak season for us equestrians. Needless to say,

our summer collections are paid lots of attention. We start preparing

months in advanced to be able to give you high quality and great looking

styles for the fun outdoor season.

Regardless of your level of riding, whether you are travelling the world for

the international five star shows or you are just as happy at home with your

favorite horse you will always need clothes that can endure rough use.

Clothes that can withstand all kinds of weather and still look stylish and

last but not least be comfortable while doing what you love the most.

This summer you find a lot of lovely light pastel

coloured styles from Kingsland. The pastels are

made in addition to our classic core colours like

navy, red and cream, because we know you all love

the opportunity to vary your equestrian style.

Summer time equals long days and shorter nights,

lighter clothing and warm weather. However, we

have all experienced those cool summer days and

chilly summer nights. This is the reason why we

always include soft, comfortable fleece jackets and

fashionable outerwear. The Kingsland Summer 2014

collection gives you lots of choices for all kinds of

weather. Our collection is also divided into themes

so that all riders will find something they like in the

colours they love.

In the fashion world the style and the colours

vary from season to season. At Kingsland

we are very proud to be one of the top

manufacturers of equestrian wear and

equipment in the world. We always keep an

eye on the fashion business when preparing

a new season. It is important for us to be

an equestrian reflection of the style for the

moment in fashion.

MODErn DraMaOur Modern Drama theme is one of four themes for the

Summer 2014 collection. Modern Drama appeals to the classic

and elegant equestrian with exquisite details. We have used

a lot of crystals and pearls together with subtle colors like the

Beige Dove and Black combined with White.

The styles differ from the rest of the collection by the use of

timeless details and if you are looking for a less sporty but

more elegant look the Kingsland Modern Drama is the theme

for you.

THEBOSSYou know that one dream horse, the one that is just

perfect, beautiful, full of attitude and also jumps

like a champion…? Well, he does exist. Levisto Z

is that dream horse. He is as white as snow with a

dreamy long tail and the perfect mane. He is polite

and nice to handle, but also with a will and mind of

his own. And he jumps - he actually is a champion.

After 10 years of jumping internationally with rider

and owner Judy Ann Melchior Levisto Z was retired

during the fall of 2013.

- I feel like its time for his retirement now. He has

done his job and I want him to be able to enjoy his

time, after years of jumping, Judy Ann explains.

The retirement and celebration of one of the best

horses in the sport of showjumping took place

at Levisto Z´s home at Zangersheide in Belgium

during the World Championships in showjumping

for Young Horses. The same arena where he has won

championship after championship with pilot Judy Ann.

Accompanied by drummers and music Levisto

entered the arena at Zangersheide in September.

This time not to jump, but to be celebrated by

the thousands of spectators present for the

championship.

- It was magical! He knew that the show was for him

and celebrated in his own way, as always. He is such

a personality. Judy Ann is almost teary-eyed just two

days after the retirement.

Levisto and Judy Ann have had ten years together.

It has been ten unforgettable years. Arriving at

Zangersheide at the age of 7, like a rough high

carat diamond, he and Judy Ann had a perfect

understanding right from the start.

- I was only 17 years old

when I got Levisto. I

had just jumped my first

international competitions.

We travelled to Chantilly

to jump the youngster

tour, and we won! He just

jumped so naturally, says

Judy Ann.

The list of shows since that first class is long and

successful. But there is also the everyday life with

one of the best horses around. Levisto is the boss

in the stables at Zangersheide. This is a fact known

and accepted by everyone.

- He demands attention, Judy Ann laughs. Every

morning when she arrives at the stable Levisto is

the first to be greeted and fed.

- It has always been like that and I don´t think

he would accept any other solution. He loves

attention.

In the past ten years Judy Ann and Levisto have

jumped everything all over the world, from the World

Cup finals to the European Championships and

everything in between. We feel blessed to have been

given the opportunity to visit, and photograph this

beautiful stallion. The photos are some of the best

we have ever seen, but we never were unsure about

the result with a model as stunning as Levisto Z – the

boss.

A true love story never ends….
