Philanthropic Activities In 2004, Kiran Mazumdar started the Biocon

Foundation to conduct health, education, sanitation and environment programs for the benefit of the economically weaker sections of the society

They were built 800 toilets in kuskur gram panchayathof Anekal taluk in Karnataka
