NEEDS

Brief: A vehicle for special needs. A vehicle inaid for traffic police which can pick up thebikes parked at the no parking zone.

User: Traffic Police and assistants.

•Pick up of bikes parked in No parking area.•Cars parked in no parking area.•Unwanted / unclean vehicles parked on busy roads.•Vehicles which get damaged after an accidents.

•Some benchmarking as part of the mechanisms and existing lifts.

•Some already used lifts and mechanisms available in the market.

•Most mechanisms are available for car lift.

•Few mechanisms are being readily used for bike lift, cause it is best taken in a ramp.

•Initial sketches and some details of the profiles which is to be maintained in the model and final truck.•Maintaining the Police, ruggedness and multi utility factor.

•The police vehicle being a completely rough utility and multi purpose vehicle.

•The form inspiration is from an international police pick up truck.

•Inspiration from character of Gorillaz

•Different views of the police truck.•Form of the bus becomes the identity of traffic police.•Multi purpose and a strong identity for the traffic police force.

•Form which is more utility oriented and inspired from Gorillaz.

•Side doors which would slide upwards and which would open up a ram, to load the bikes.

•Use of the vehicle while loading the bikes.

•Plan view, which shows the location of the bikes and space required.

•Front view while in action of loading.

•Special Purpose of the vehicle.•It can accommodate a total of four to five bikes.•The ramp eases the user to push the bike into the truck.•The truck can store the bike, and could be locked.

Packaging for Burger Mail, a mobileeating outlet in pune. There are fourvehicles currently, placed at four parts ofthe city. They serve burgers, and otherdishes, which are readily made in thevehicle.

The vehicle is a host for thecustomers and helps the owner build uphis business based on its receptive form.

• Basic research on the vansand the types of LCVvehicles available in themarket.

• Some of the vehicles, takenas a bench mark for the van.

Form Explorations: Mainly when working on a commercial vehicle platform, the vehicle looks more like a commercial vehicle.

Several explorations where carried out on the forms and it’s various views.

• Forms based on motif from aburger.

• The open portion of the burger andits yummy taste.

• The openings are provided forselling area.

• As the upper glass is raised up,allowing the cooking gas to escape.
