The 14th International Trade Fair of Energy (Kish ENEX 2018), supported by the
Ministry Of Petroleum, Kish Free Zone Organization, National Iranian Oil Co., National
Iranian Gas Co., National Petrochemical Co. & National Iranian Oil Refining &
Distribution Co., in collaboration with Kish Investment and Development Co. was held by
Sepantas Kish Co., on 22-25 January, 2018 in Kish International Exhibitions Center, Kish
Island-Iran.
About 150 local & foreign companies, active in different fields of Oil, Gas, Water, Electricity,
New Energy, Renewable Energy, Chemicals, Petrochemical and other related industries
have been participated.
Promoting mutual business relations with regional & overseas countries, having a good
opportunity to be a part of t his competitive growing market and creating investment facilities in
related industries are the main targets of organizing this international show.

UNIDO to support 14th Int’l Energy Exhibition
in Kish
Tehran, Jan 17, IRNA - United Nations Industrial Development Organization
(UNIDO) in Iran, supports the 14th International Energy Exhibition to promote the
United Nations Sustainable Development Goals on “Ensure access to affordable,
reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all”.
The UNIDO’s Representative in Iran, Dr. Maryam Javan Shahraki will be the keynote speaker
in the opening of the fair on “UNIDO’s Contributions on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving
in Iran,” according to a press release sent to IRNA by the United Nations Information Center
(UNIC) in Tehran.
The 14th International Energy Exhibition will be held in Kish Int'l Exhibitions Center, Kish
Island, Iran on 22– 25 January 2018 as a place to introduce the country capabilities in the
fields of oil, gas, petrochemicals, water & electricity, new energy, chemicals & related
industries.
UNIDO will organize two seminars for sharing the achievements of “Industrial Energy
Efficiency in 5 Key Sectors (IEE) Project” which is funded by Global Environmental Facility
(GEF).
The national coordinator and experts of IEE project will be available in UNIDO’s booth for
sharing the projects information with the industries.
The 14th International Energy Exhibition is organized by support of Iranian stakeholders of
oil and gas industry like Ministry of Petroleum, National Iranian Oil Company, National
Iranian Gas Company, National Petrochemical Company, National Oil Refinery and
Distribution Company, etc.
More than 200 local and foreign companies would participate in this event, to reach their
target customers and share the information of available energy technology with each other.
This fair has allocated some part of its income to supporting the victims of recent earthquake
in Kermanshah, western Iran.

Petroleum Museums Was Honored In Kish
Exhibition Sunday, January 28, 2018
The Petroleum Museums And Documents Center was honored during a three-day energy
exhibition in Kish, which wrapped up on Thursday .
The 14th International Energy Exhibition, Kish ENEX 2018, decided to honor Petroleum
Museums booth for its active participation in the exhibition as well as its endeavors to display the
history of Iran’s oil industry.
The Managing director of Kish Exhibition Company, Mahmoud Seddighi, awarded a plaque of
honor to the representative of Petroleum Museums, Ebrahim Ranjbarzadeh to appreciate the
booth’s activities.
During the exhibition a number of oil industry managers and officials visited Petroleum
Museums’ booth including Habibollah Bitaraf, deputy minister of petroleum for engineering,
research and technology; Mohammadreza Nematzadeh, the petroleum minister’s senior adviser;
Masoud Hashemian, director general of Petroleum Ministry for economic affairs and investment;
Tofighi, former minister of science and the president of Research Institute for Petroleum Industry
(RIPI); Hashemi, chairman of board of directors of Iranol Company; Karami, head of Petroleum
Inspection Company; Saeedi, deputy for economic and investment at Kish Free Zone; Rashidi
deputy for operations at Pars Oil and Gas Company; Sharifian, former managing director of the
National Iranian Drilling Company (NIDC); Narimanian, head of public relations department of
Iran’s Offshore Oil Company (IOOC); Rahmani, the managing director of Iranian Offshore
Engineering And Construction Company (IOEC); officials from the Russian oil company,
Tatneft; and Nader Talebzadeh a documentary filmmaker.
The Petroleum Museums booth also succeeded in attracting a great number of visitors from
ordinary people with different ages including oil industry retirees and veterans as well as youths
who found the exhibition a great opportunity to become familiar with petroleum museums and oil
industry concepts.

‘Iran holds 9% of the oil and 18% of the natural gas of the world,’ said Habibollah Bitaraf in the
Kish 14th International Petro Energy Exhibition (Kish ENEX 2018).
Bitaraf said, ‘We have the record of producing 6 million barrels of oil per day, and our potential
to produce natural gas is about 400 billion cubic meter a year, which is a large portion of the
energy in the world.’
He said it is predicted that by the Iranian year 1400 [starting March 21, 2021], Iran will be
producing 4.5 million barrels of oil per day; and taking the production of natural gas into account,
Iran will be the first energy producer in the world, said Bitaraf.
‘Realizing the aims, we need 200 billion dollars of investment in the oil and gas industry,’ he
added.
The Kish ENEX 2018 is held January 22-25, in Kish Island, the Persian Gulf.
Germany, Armenia, Sweden, South Korea, South Africa, China, Italy, France, Switzerland,
Russia, Austria and the UAE are participating in the event.
