Applicants need to meet the following criteria
1. Applicants need to be nationals of Burundi, Cameroon, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Dominican Republic, Fiji, the Gambia, Guyana, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, Papua New Guinea (Cape Verde, Senegal, Timor-Leste or other ACP countries)
2. Applicants must not have resided nor carried out their main activity (studies, work, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in one of the European countries (this guideline is not applicable for staff)
3. Applicants need to have sufficient knowledge of the language of the courses taken at the host university
4. Applicants need to belong to one of the three eligible target groups (next slide)
Students and staff members of all ages, sex, religion, social group membership or financial resources are encouraged to apply.

The Application Form can be filled out in English and French, however:
The language of application must agree with the language of instruction of the institution and the programme you are applying for.
If you apply to an institution with different languages of instruction, we strongly recommend using English to fill in the application form, however, the supporting documents in this case can be in different languages.
