Konica Minolta: new bizhub series 3300P, 4000P and 4700P set modern standards for printers

Langenhagen/Germany, 1 April 2013 To increase efficiency in printing, Konica Minolta is launching the bizhub series 3300P, 4000P and 4700P. Thanks to a compact design and an impressive optimal performance, the new printers are ideal for small to medium-sized work groups. The printers feature different advantages and speed rates to suit different customers’ needs and make workaday life easy. The new printer series is a real time-saver: users do not need to wait long for printouts and thus have more time for other duties and responsibilities. A new processor and the possibility of expanding the storage capacity of the bizhub series 4000P and 4700P to up to 1.28 GB allow fast converting of all print jobs. With a printing speed of up to 47 prints per minute, the 4700P device can reach a very high level of performance. Furthermore, the bizhub devices have a flexible paper-handling facility with a capacity of up to 2,300 sheets, which enables the user to manage large print jobs without refilling paper. Users can choose up to three additional paper magazines, which can be filled with multiple paper formats. This helps users save additional time, as they do not need to change the paper manually. The 2.4-inch colour LCD display on the bizhub 4000P and 4700P provides an appealingly animated menu, showing the status of the system and allowing access to control options and settings. Directory-like navigation ensures easy and time-saving handling without complicated user manuals. The integrated Eco mode not only saves power and toner, but also reduces the volume through the minimisation of alarm sounds. In addition, duplex printing is activated by default to save paper. Furthermore, a manually adjustable or preprogrammable Hibernate mode enables the system to switch to power-saving

mode, which uses less than 0.5 watts, e.g. after office hours. Thus, the new bizhub printer series is environmentally friendly because of its lower energy- and paper consumption. The compact design makes the printers ideal desktop devices. Therefore, these printers are even suitable for printing confidential documents, as they can be taken out immediately. This way, there is no danger that somebody else might get hold of confidential documents, which is especially important for human resources or financial departments. “The new bizhub series 3300P, 4000P and 4700P can operate as a modern desktop printer as well as a central printing system for small and medium-sized work groups.
