KME Drama Cast and Parent Meeting

• $50 production fee is due today• Comes with one tee shirt for the actor, two
comp tickets• Helps to cover production costs
Fee was due on 12/15. Please turn in today.
Tee Shirts
• Shirts will be a part of costumes this year• Opportunity to purchase additional shirts next
semester
Costume Basics
• All cast members will need to wear the cast tee shirt, blue jean shorts, and closed toed shoes they can dance in.
• There may be a few exceptions.• Additional pieces (such as hats) will be added
to distinguish characters for certain songs.• If you own something we can use, great!
Otherwise, the school will provide what is needed.
Costumes• If you bring in the costume piece, you can take
it home after the performances or donate it.• If the school buys the costume piece, KME
Drama will keep it for future use.• If the costume piece is borrowed from
somewhere else, we will need it back to return it.
Ticket sales
• Each actor gets two comp (complimentary) tickets.
• Coach Chadwick is in charge of box office.• Presale tickets can be picked up in advance.• Tickets must be presented at the door.
Kelly Mill Colts Choir
• Again this year, the Kelly Mill Colts Choir will be singing our group numbers with us during the performances of Dear Edwina jr!
Double Casting
• All characters are double cast.• Each student will play the role in 2
performances (unless the plan for 4 performances changes).
• Alternating days and times• During the performances that the student is
not playing his/her character role, s/he will sing with our choir.
We have 2 casts;Purple & Lime.
Rehearsing with Double Casting
• There will be some rehearsals where only one cast is called.
• There will be some dress rehearsal days where different casts will rehearse at different times.
• Sometimes, actors from different casts will be called to rehearse together.

• I will post which students are called to rehearsal for the next week under “KME Drama Club”.
• Only called students should come to rehearsal.

Dates/Times for your Calendar
• Dress Rehearsal on Friday, March 13 from 11:50-4:45pm (early release day).
• Dress rehearsal on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday March 23-25, 2015. Times are TBA.
• TBA dress rehearsal at West Forsyth High School.• Performances are March 26-27. They are
scheduled to be in the West Forsyth High School auditorium at 5:30 and 7:30pm.

Drama rehearsals will begin on January 12.Music rehearsals will begin on January 8.
