FREE HOT CHOCOLATE NIGHTSARE THURSDAYS IN DECEMBER

Christmas in Cuero began in 2000 with the lighting of the Gazebo in the Cuero Municipal Park. It has grown to over 240 displays of Victorian, Western, 12 Days of Christmas, Gingerbread Houses, a poinsettia archway, and other scenes.

Highlights are the 17-piece Nativity, Flag, Paddlewheel Boat, Sassy the Sea Serpent, Peace on Earth Globe, Oil Derrick Blowing Snowflakes, Pumpjack with Santa Waving, and the Helicopter and Reindeer.

Santa and his reindeer fly over Lakeside Knoll while his elves are busy with gifts around the corner. When driving under the 250 snowflakes in the trees, watch out for the Toy Soldiers Marching Band.

Soldiers show the way along the self-guided tour of the Municipal Park off US Highway 87 South.
