About Mu oet 2015

Manipal University Online Entrance Test, common-ly known as MU OET, is the Online Entrance Test conducted by the Manipal University for admis-

sions to the various courses in engineering at the affiliated institutes of the University. Successful candidates of MU OET 2015 will get admissions to the bachelor’s engineer-ing courses in Manipal Institute of Technology at Manipal,

Manipal University at Jaipur and Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology.

MU OET 2015 will be conducted at various test cities across India over duration of one month starting from April 14 and concluding on May 15, 2015.





Mu oet 2015 eligibility CriteriA

F Candidate must have passed 10+2, IB, A Level, American 12th grade or equivalent.

F Candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% marks aggregate in Physics, Mathematics and any of the optional subjects as mentioned below.

F Mathematics, English and Physics must be compulsory subjects in the qualifying exam.

F Optional subjects in Class XII or equivalent can be Chem-istry or Biotechnology or Biology.

MU OET 2015 Selection ProcedureCandidates will be selected on the basis of the rank obtained in the All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test 2015. Candidates who score at least 50% marks will be con-sidered as qualified in the MU OET exam

Candidates willing to apply for MU OET 2015 will need to register at first. They have to pay MU OET 2015 Application Fees before filling in the Manipal

University 2015 Online Application Form.

Step-Wise Procedure to Fill MU OET 2015 Online Application Form:

Filling Online Application Form for MU OET 2015 is simple. It includes following five easy steps-

The following five steps tell students how to fill Manipal University 2015 Online Application Form-

1. Basic Information





The first step is to provide the basic information in order to register. Candidates shall fill the following details for registration -

F First name

F Last name

F Gender

F Email ID

F Mobile Number

F Date of Birth

F Program

F Stream

F Category

F Country

F State

F Nationality

Candidates shall click on submit and continue in order to proceed further.

Note: An email will be sent to the registered Email ID of the candidate specifying the MU OET 2015 Application number and a password. The MU OET 2015 Application Number is to be used as the log in to complete the applica-tion procedure.

2. Selection of Programmes





In the second step, candidates are required to fill their course of choice, along with personal information, which includes date of birth and parent name.

Choosing Test Centers -Candidates can choose a minimum of two cities for taking exam as per their convenience. Test centers once selected cannot be changed at a later stage.

Payment Details -If you are paying through Demand Draft, then details of the DD like DD No., IFSC Code, etc., should be kept ready while applying.

If you have chosen to pay online via Credit Card/ Net Bank-ing, then you will be redirected to an external site for pay-ment. The credit card statement will show the transaction as coming from CCAVENUE. Save the transaction ID and quote it for any queries relating to fee payment.

4. Education Qualification

In the fourth step of MU OET 2015 Online Application, candidates shall provide the details of their education qualifications. They are required to enter following information-

Important Instructions-F Candidates shall upload their photograph and signature

(in JPEG or GIF Formats. Size of the files must not exceed 200 KB with dimensions of 200 x 200 px) along with Manipal University 2015 Online Application or they can email the photograph and signature soft copies to [email protected].

F Candidates shall keep a copy of filled-in MU OET 2015 Online Application Form for future reference.

F The Application number must be quoted in all future cor-respondence.

5. ConfirmationThis is the last step of MU OET 2015 Online Application Form submission. You have now been registered with Mani-pal University, and you can check the status of your applica-tion form using the login ID and password which was mailed to your registered Email ID.





Mu oet 2015 pAper pAttern

F The Manipal OET 2015 is a computer based test.

F The duration of the MU OET 2015 is of 2.30 hours.

F The questions appearing on the screen will be of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ type). The language of the ques-tions will be English.

F There will be four responses labeled A, B, C and D after each question. Out of them, only one option is correct. You shall choose only one response by clicking on the button next to the answer. You can navigate freely through the questions.

F The test centre will provide you rough sheets for rough work. You should not take any paper with you to the test centre for this purpose.

F The test paper comprises of 200 questions in total as fol-lows:

Physics: 50 questions

Chemistry: 50 questions

Mathematics: 70 questions

English & General Aptitude: 30 questions





You must carry the MU OET 2015 Admit Card to the exam hall, along with the copy of MU OET 2015 Application Form and a valid photo identity.

You should reach the exam centre 30 minutes before the reporting time, which is mentioned in your MU OET 2015 Admit Card. Make sure that you schedule your time to include pre-registration as well.

Last Minute Tips:

F Have a good night’s sleep before the exam day.

F Keep calm and don’t be stressed. Assure that you are pre-pared and will give your best shot.

F Eat simple healthy food to keep yourself energetic before the entrance exam.

F Revise your preparatory notes one last time.

Regulations at MU OET 2015 Test Centre During Exam:

1. First of all after entering the exam hall, you must check and ensure that the system allotted to you is switched on. If there is any problem with the computer, then immediately bring it to the notice of invigilator.

2. There will be a pre-test process that includes reg-istration and an on-site orientation. This will be prior to the start of the actual test. You will not be allowed to take the test if you arrive after the on-site orientation has begun.

3. After reaching the exam centre, you have to register your name at the registration counter, where the MU OET 2015 E-Hall Ticket will be checked to satisfy about your identity.

the test, you shall occupy your allotted seat with the computer.

5. DO NOT carry any textual material- printed/writ-ten, bits of paper, or any other material, besides your admit card inside the exam hall. Also, the fol-lowing devices are not allowed that can be of unfair assistance-1. Calculators2. Slide rules3. Clark tables4. Electronic watches with facilities of calculators5. Laptop or palmtop computers6. Personal stereo systems7. Walkie-talkie sets8. Mobile phones9.Paging devices

6. Only after the completion of the entire exam dura-tion, you can leave the exam hall.

7. Smoking is strictly prohibited. Also, tea, coffee, snacks or cold drinks are not allowed in the exam hall.

8. Most important, you must sign the attendance sheet provided by the invigilator. The invigilator will also sign on your MU OET 2015 Admit Card in the space provided.

Important: If you are not satisfied with your performance in MU OET 2015 Exam, then you can apply for a second attempt by paying Rs.1,000 in OTBS (online Test Booking System), if there is a slot available.
