Note from the School Captain 2 Stopping by the Milestone 3

    Thank you for Everything

We acknowledge that we haven’t exactly made it a smooth sail all the way through for teachers in SelaQui. However, the innu-

merable and unrelenting efforts of our mentors continue to amaze us. The bond developed between SeQuins and the faculty mem-

bers is one that is cherished for lifetime.

A teacher’s work Is not only limited to teaching, a teacher is someone who guides us for the future in every aspect of life, a teach-

er is someone who is our second parent, A teacher is someone who makes us imbibe the most intrinsic nuances and manners of

life and the basic keys to survival. Yes we as students might not be the perfect ones but we also learn from how you cope with our

often immature whims and fancies. We might not be able show you the extent of our fondness for you but we do realize that our

characters and personalities-all that we happen to be- have been sculpted by you.

You guide us when we are lost, you support us when we are weak and we are enlightened all through this way because for you

being a teacher is the highest privilege but for us having one is the best blessing. We are grateful for your each and every action

because you teach us always that ‘don’t wait for the stars, reach up and rearrange them the way you want. Create your own con-

stellation’. Your words are like magic to us whether in the state of vexation or fondness, we can just feel them and be surprised

about how special they prove to be.

The spirit of Teachers’ Day encapsulates all of this and provides a channel for our otherwise mischievous enthusiasm to be put to

    good use.

On behalf of the SeQuin team, we wish all the teachers a very Happy Teachers’ Day and hope you enjoy to the fullest.

  • Note from the School Captain

“A teacher plants the seeds of knowledge, sprinkles them with love and patiently nurtures their growth to produce to-morrow’s dreamers.”

On behalf of all the students, I wish all the teachers a very Happy Teacher’s Day. This year it will be bigger, greater and much more fun. So, teachers fasten your seat belts because this ride will take you somewhere else. It must be very hard to wait for the much awaited football match but I guarantee that after being drained out, the cultural evening will get you up and going.

    Get ready because this is

    Teacher’s Day 2k19.

  • Stopping by the Milestone

We were on the road even before the break of dawn and the

chilly Mussorie air definitely woke us to consciousness,

that’s when we realized we were in the parking lot of St.

Georges to be a part of Milestone 2019. The theme for this

year was evolution and featured the teen prodigy Dr.

Tejasvini Mahogava, Reality TV dancing star Raghav Juyal

and budding artisis like Ankit Chawoli etc. The Breathtak-

ing ceiling high paintings were definitely my favorite, high-

light along with sharing the stage with Raghav Juyal. The

performances by all 21 participant schools looked near pro-

fessional, all of them were live streamed on St George’s

    Mussorie’s Youtube Channel.

Vishwas Gupta and Arish Gulzar placed 2nd in the event:

pixelated and the milestone cup was bagged by Hopetown Girls School.

    Teacher a Gift in Disguise

People who would solve any question,

    No matter about the time.

    They will always help you,

Even if it is a question asked a 100 times.

    They dedicate their lives,

To make the life of others.

They will scold you like a devil,

But only to bloom you like an angel.

People like these are not really found,

Be it Himalayan high or oceans deep down.

You can call them power banks,

They charge courage, discipline deep down.

    To conclude my verse,

I would Just like to say

Teachers are a gift in disguise

They don’t have a definite age, shape or size
