According to WHO: 2.5 billion people which are over 40% of the world’s population are at risk of Dengue.
Currently, Dengue fever is the leading cause of death and hospitalization among children in many South-east Asian Countries.
According to DOH, around 22,000 cases during 2009
According to Department of Health, 29, 000 cases were reported between January 1 and July 10, 2010.
From January to September 25,2010DOH reported 98, 934 cases with 694 deaths.

It defines health as a positive dynamic state rather than simply the absence o the disease.

1. What is the profile characteristics of the mothers of Rosary Heights 10, Cotabato City in terms of:◦Age◦Educational Level◦Occupation
2. What is the extent of knowledge on dengue fever of the mothers in RH 10, Cotabato City
3. What are the attitudes on the management of dengue fever by the respondents?
4. What is the extent of practices on dengue control by the respondents?
5. Is there a significant relationship between the extent of knowledge on dengue fever of the mothers in RH 10, Cotabato City and the extent of practices on dengue control?
6. Is there a significant difference in the attitude on dengue control by the mothers in RH 10, Cotabato City when grouped according to educational level?
Hypothesis
HO1 There is no significant relationship between the extent of knowledge on dengue fever of the mothers in RH 10, Cotabato City and the extent of practices on dengue control.
HO2 There is no significant difference in the attitude on dengue control by the mothers in RH 10, Cotabato City when grouped according to educational level.

The research will be conducted in Rosary Heights 10, Cotabato City. This has the highest percentage of the city’s population
100 selected mothers of Rosary Heights 10, Cotabato City, using quota sampling
Participants
The data gathering instrument to be used will be a questionnaire for the participants. The questionnaire as the research instrument is researcher-made and will be divided into 4 parts: respondent’s profile, extent of knowledge on dengue fever, attitude on the management of dengue fever and extent of practice on dengue control.

Data analysis
The data obtained from the analysis of given questionnaires are tabulated using the frequency distribution, percentage, and the use of standard deviation.
This focuses on the selected 100 mothers in Rosary Heights 10who lived there for 3 to five years. This research would only study their extent of knowledge on dengue fever, attitude on the management of dengue fever and extnt of practice on dengue control.
