Koalas eat eucalyptus leaves which is their favorite food.

A lot of people think koalas are cute bears. But their marsupials. Marsupials are animals with pouches.

On one of a koala’s hands they have two thumbs for getting a good grip on trees.

Female koalas have a pouch for holding baby koalas.

The first thing a koala does after it’s born is crawl into it’s mothers pouch.

Koalas are nocturnal , which means they sleep in the day, but not at night.

sea otters are playful and are sometimes called “clowns of the kelp bed”

A sea otter’s body is very well adapted to be in the water.

People used to hunt sea otters for their fur. Now oils spills are what hurts them the most.

Sea otters can make food into energy very fast and this energy turns into heat.

Not many mothers are as loving and devoted to their kids as sea otters. Sea otter pups stay with their mothers for six months until they can live on their own.

Sea otters can be born mostly everywhere.
