Siegewalls

“A siege tower or breaching tower (or in the Middle Ages, a Belfry) is a specialized siege engine, constructed to protect assailants and ladders while approaching the defensive walls of a fortification.”

Until your opponent killed all of the Siege Wall you have, none of your

opponent troops will advance in the battle field. (Thus always use SW on

Attack & Defending) as a General rule,

Page 2: KoC Siege walls

Siege Walls are acting as two units - defensive unit and offensive unit. The defensive part is placed right in front of your opponent and it is for defending

only, it will not attack any of your opponent troops. Which mean they are already in

your opponent attacking range right when the battle start. Until your opponent killed all

of the Siege Wall you have, none of your opponent troops will advance in the battle

field. ( Thus always use SW on Attack & Defending) ( As a General rule)

Siege Wall are great due to their high defense stat. If you are able to boost its

defense with high TR bonus (without letting your opponent debuff it or attack it with

high attack TR bonus), it will takes millions or even billions of your opponents troops to

kill a small waves a Siege Wall.

Now let’s talk about the offensive part of your Siege Wall. Many people do not know

that Siege Wall can attack during a battle too. The offensive part will start from the

starting (furthest) position together with the rest of your troops. It will advance together

with the rest of your troops and attack once there are any opponent troops fall into its

attacking range. But if the defensive part died, you lost the offensive part of your Siege

Wall too since they were originally from the same unit.

So to make it easier for you to imagine, imagine your troops start climbing up the stairs

from the ground when the battle start, they start to attack your opponent when they

reach the siege platform. But if the tower blows up before they reach the platform, they

will die too, make sense? (quote F89)

Boost the Attack, Defense, Life & Combat Speed stats to make the Siege

Wall stronger, faster and more lethal.

Page 4: KoC Siege walls

Siege walls MUST be destroyed before your opponent can advance /

attack the other troops you send in a wave.

The more you boost your SW & the more you send, the harder you make

it your opponent. If the SW keep the Opponent busy, your other troops

have time to come in Range & close the gap on battlefield.

This is a General Rule, Not a HARD rule because…

“It's not a hard and fast rule that Siege Walls are automatically attacked

first.

Siege Walls always position themselves to be attacked 1st but if they're

sufficiently debuffed or other units are sufficiently buffed, another unit

can be attacked first.

Since the Sidhe Corruptors are high on the priority list, it's possible

they'll be attacked before Siege Walls by Range(d) units, and since

they're so fast, it's possible they can sneak into melee range before the

Siege Walls. Nothing changed about the functionality of the Siege Wall

itself, the Sidhes are just fast enough/draw enough threat that stats now

determine what gets attacked first.”

Siege Wall Accuracy is consistent against all troops (1) except:

Sidhe Corruptors (0.5)

Saboteurs (0.2)

As you can see Sidhes have an accuracy of 3 against Siege Walls. So they can Take

Siege Walls down with their high Attack stats, just be sure you debuff as much attack debuff

as you can in TR.

Also the Saboteurs are a Danger for Siege Walls,

“These cunning troops specialize in disabling siege weapons, but cannot fight toe-to-toe with

most combat troops.”

If it is a melee troop: they hit the in Range enemy according

to their Combat Speed value.

Shield Sorcerers are at the

end (with the shield itself up

front to absorb damage while

it's still in action).

Max damage shields 30

Billion

Siege Walls take the 3rd

place (right after the

shield of the shield

sorcerers & Sidhe

Corruptors).

Page 7: KoC Siege walls

Siege Walls have a rather high Combat Speed.

“Siege Walls always position themselves to be attacked 1st.”

The more troops the defender has on Defense, the more SW you

may need, 100/200/300/400k etc.

“Siegewalls & Hussars are for example a good combo “

Sharing is knowledge, and a lot of players are not sharing. Yes, it gives you and edge, or advantage, but

it leaves also many people clueless. The objective of these tutorials, is to teach, learn, educate players so ALL players have

a better under understanding of the game. The more players participate, the better the overall experience is for all players.

More attacking and defending means “lively” domains full of activity.
