MONTHLY NEWSLETTER | BETHEL BAPTIST CHURCH | NOVEMBER 2017

Can I brag on yall for a minute? Would it be okay if I just pat you on the back? As your Pastor, I’ve been seeing some things that have blessed me, and have encouraged me. In fact, they’ve just made me happy and proud of yall.

I’ve been seeing Bethel people enjoying each others fellowship. I’ve been seeing Bethel folks crying with other members, who are hurting. And, praying with them. I’ve seen Bethel people giving to help with different needs. I’ve seen yall offering to help others. I’ve seen people getting excited about worship. I’ve seen others step up, and volunteer to serve in some places, in our church. I see yall giving to special, mission offerings, and getting shoeboxes ready to send to children, who need Jesus.

It’s been all of these things and more that’s just made me proud of yall. I’m the Pastor of the greatest Church in the world! Sherrie and I love yall very much.

Something else that I want yall to know. Bethel is getting a rep-utation around the area. We’re known as a loving, friendly bunch of people. We’re known as the Church that loves children and youth. We’re known as the Church that has warm, Spirit-filled worship. We’re known as the Church that holds to the Bi-ble. We’re known as the Church that’s very involved in missions. We’re known as a Jesus Church. That’s a great reputation to have.

And then, one last thing I want to tell you all. Bethel is not just a Greenfield Church, anymore. Our boundaries don’t end at the Greenfield city limits. We’ve got people coming to our Church from Bradford, and Martin, and Skullbone, and Dresden, and Sharon. We’re reaching people from all over this area. What a great thing! It’s so good to see people from all over pulling into the parking lot to worship the Lord!

See you in Church!!

Youth Stuff

Hey Church Family!

November gives us a great opportunity to slow down

and remember the many blessings that God has given us. I want

to encourage you to find some time with your family to take

advantage of the Thanksgiving season and redeem that time for

Christ. It’s a wonderful opportunity to share with your family how God is impacting your life.

One of the blessings that the youth can be thankful for this month is the Turkey Bowl! We’re going bowl-

ing on November 11th. We’ll be spending the afternoon trying to stay out of the gutter and wearing incredibly

tacky shoes. It’ll be a blast!

God is blessing us in the youth ministry and we thank you for all the prayers. Please, keep praying for us!

In Christ,

Bro. Josh

Kid’s Corner

Hey Church Family!

One of our favorite traditions in Awana is when the students

get to bring in all the Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes into the

sanctuary for our dedication service. I want to encourage all of our

Awana friends to make sure not to miss November 12th and to make

sure they wear their uniforms.

The next week, Awana will not be meeting as the church cele-

brates our annual Church Thanksgiving Dinner. We want to invite all

of our Awana families to come and join us for a wonderful evening of

food, fellowship, and encouragement. We hope that you’ll plan on

joining us!

Keep praying for us!

In Christ,

Bro. Josh
