Keep these members in your prayers. Take time out to
send a card, stop for a visit or give them a call. Time
goes so slow and company is so nice.
Gala Alert!
Dear Brothers and Sisters of Kolping,
As you are aware, a great task is lovingly underway…the
celebration of the Cincinnati Kolping Society’s 90th year.
A part of this celebration is a delicious meal to be plated
and served by volunteers. An event of this magnitude
will require many hands. We will need folks to set the
tables for dinner, pre-plate salads and desserts, plate
the dinners and serve our guests.
We’re seeking out all teens (that perhaps need service
hours), young adults and not so young adults (such as
myself) that would be willing and perhaps feel called to
serve in this mission. We will, of course, have a few
training sessions and rehearsals, so that the execution
of the dinner service is smooth and enjoyable for all.
Please consider volunteering for this “call to arms.”
We all have something to offer whether it’s in the
kitchen or out on the service floor. This is to be a great
event and any time that you can spare will be of great
service to those members that have laid the foundation
of what we are today.
You can contact me by phone ( 513-266-6695, 513-851-
7951) or e-mail ([email protected] or
[email protected]) with any questions or
concerns.
Treu Kolping,
Beth Hoffman
Sports Club
We have 35 teams getting ready for the season. They
all are hoping the weather breaks soon. So they can
start outdoor practices. League games start the second
week of April. We are also getting ready for the
tournament.
Our dance on Feb. 14th was a great success and
everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
