What Color They Are
Some have white or yellow patches of skin. They are brown, green or gray colors.

EggsKomodo Babies roll in their poop, so other komodo dragons don’t eat them. The baby komodo lives in trees for 1-4 years. They lay 20-30 eggs.
Where They LiveKomodo dragons live in
nearby islands and on the island of Komodo. They live in burrows. Komodo dragons dig it’s burrows with it’s claws. They live all alone.
What They EatThey eat deer, cows, pigs, and water buffalos. They eat people. They eat animals that are already dead. Carnivores are meat eaters. Komodo dragons have more than 50 kinds of bacteria in their mouth.
PredatorsThey attack other komodo dragons. They have no enemies. It’s against the law to kill them. They are endangered.
What They DoOne bite could kill an animal. They use their tails to protect themselves. They run 5 miles per hour. They can smell up to up to 7 miles away. If they break their teeth, they grow back. This is how you know how it’s a komodo dragon. If it stick its tongue at you that’s because its telling you to stay away. They smell with it’s tongue.
