Apr, 2001 Development and sales of “MEDIAGLOBE”, the world's first full color digital planetarium.

Mar, 2004 Re-opened “Sunshine Planetarium” under direct management, currently named Konica Minolta Planetarium “MANTEN” in Sunshine City.
May, 2012 Opening of the Konica Minolta Planetarium “TENKU” in TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN® as a second direct management planetarium theater.

New types of seating, “Lawn” and “Cloud” seats, where visitors can lie on artificial grass or on a large white sofa to relax and have a perfect view of the night sky.

Dome Diameter: 18 meters, 10-degree tilt / Seating: 212 seats
Won the 2012 “GOOD DESIGN AWARD” in the category of “Media for public” for its blue and white based lobby and dome design. Original mesh seating was also produced providing a hammock-like comfort.
