Worldwide, 85% of Men (15% women) suffer from hair loss. Day by day, the number of hair loss

sufferers is increasing in number and is more than doubled between 2008 to 2010. The importance

of hair in our lives cannot be overstated. Whether men or women lose their hair, they lose much

more than their natural, youthful appearance. People also lose their self-esteem and self-

confidence associated with healthy looking hair. The scalp and hair requires an optimal amount of

nutrients that is not always provided by the daily nutritional intake leading to Hair. Hair growth

actives have a strong presence in our everyday lives and are integrated to help prevent hair loss

and nurture hair regrowth.

KOPYRROL recovers weak follicle cells by supplying the nutrition which hair needed for growth and

increase the growth of hair and increases the volume of hair in the growth stage by working on the

deep structure of the roots. Through the bloodstream, KOPYRROL works at the level of the hair

root, which is responsible for a healthy scalp and beautiful hair. KOPYRROL is used in hair cosmetics

to combat hair loss due to premature exhaustion of the hair root.

Mechanism of Hair Growth Cycle The scalp has at an average 100,000 hairs. A healthy scalp sheds hair continuously and new hair replaces them.

Hair growth follows a series of cycle. Each cycle includes a growth phase (anagen), a transitional phase

(catagen), and a resting phase (telogen). Any changes to the normal hair growth cycle would result in hair loss. It

occurs when the old hairs are shed and no new hair is growing from beneath to replace it. However, when the

scalp is not able to produce new hair to replace the shed hair, baldness develops and the condition is

scientifically called as alopecia.

The most common type of hair loss is androgenetic alopecic (AGA) both in men (Male pattern baldness)

and women (Female pattern hair loss) and is caused by heredity hormones and genetics.

* Everyday around 100 old hairs are shed before new hair replaces them. Average hair growth rate is upto 1cm per

month

Mechanism of KOPYRROL on stimulating hair growth

Altered Hair Growth Cycle

Decrease A: T

• Miniaturization of follicles

• Gradually Shorter Anagen Phase &

longer telogen phase

• Empty follicles- Disruption of hair cycle

Normal Hair Growth Cycle

Normal A: T (80:20)

Return to Anagen: The

hair follicle re-enters

the growth phase. The

older hair is shed, and

then replaced by a new

one.

Multiplication of group of

cells at the base of the

hair. Typically lasts from 2

to 6 years.

The growth in the hair

follicles stops and

degeneration begins. This

phase lasts about 2 to 3

weeks.

The hair rests and no growth

is experienced which lasts 2

to 3 months.
