You have requested a record of "Admitted insurance compan~ or licensed insuranceagent that holds the 'Bond' on Judge A.J. Wachter & Kurtis Loy, 11th district, Crawford CountyJudges." This office does not make, maintain, or keep in its possession any information about aninsurance company or licensed insurance agent regarding a bond on Judge Wachter and JudgeLoy. The State of Kansas is self-insured. Judges are covered by the Kansas Tort Claims Act,K.S.A. 75-6101, and amendments thereto. As with any state employee, the Kansas AttorneyGeneral's Office represents judges if they are sued. Because this office maintains no records inresponse to your inquiry, your request is denied.
