7. Issues

o Regulation Issue• A long conflict & agreement between MIC and Korean Broadcasting

Commission Agreement on ‘starting the IPTV Pilot project within this year’

• Under discussion in Preparatory Tele-Broadcasting Convergence Committee

• Some members of NA prepare to make the Convergence Service Extra Act, as a tentative law

• Stand upon the agreement of MIC & KBC this month, KT’s IPTV service will launch in Metropolitan area, as the name of IPTV Pilot service at the end of this year.

o Contents Issue• Many of PP are under the dominion of Cable SO’s oppression

• Contents Differentiation

• Development of Interactive TV Contents : T-Communication, T-Commerce, Interactive TV Service (Local Portal, Edutainment, Network Game…etc.)
