The Nature of Muslim's Peace

We found a peace harder and harder which means safty and happiness.

"Truly! God wrongs not mankind in aught."(10:44)

It is human's nature which loves peace. But people keeps away this beautiful nature and loses the peace.

God's Words or "Reconcilation is a good thing" shows us the human's nature that loves recocilation and peace. If recocilation is good, war and quarrel are needless to say bad.

People in mordern society are not happy because of the warfare.

It is not easy to find some peace by himself in the world of 'nation vs. nation', 'people vs. people', 'class vs. class', 'family vs. family' and 'man vs. man'.

The qarrel is one of the human natures.

People who are aggressive or having enmity and threatening the peace of world, like to wage warfares and see other's blood.

Peace is calmness and tolerance and who cann't get peace in their minds, cann't get it outside, either.

Talking Peace

Islam which gives us detailed informations on both good and bad situations, recommands peace.

And people want Islam to get along with other communities.

We can find a good example for this in Usman turkey era.

For instance muslim, christians and jewish could get along with under the Usman government.

Masjid, church and synagogue was constructed back-and-back.

But now there is a war in Palestine.

The war between who are following same God can not be justified.

God said "O mankind! We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Verily, the most honourable of you woth God is that (beliver) who has the piouos. Verily, God is all-knowing, all-aware."(49:13)

Muhammd(S.W.) said "O the followers of God! all be brother." 1,400 years ago.

The conditions of war are "Wage a warfare for the peace".

In Islam, war is thought to be the last resort as Islam loves peace.

War can be waged just to protect one's country and cann't be done to invade other country.

Though under the supposition of enemy's attack without declaration of war, only defence is allowed in Islam.

As the war is unavoidable, Islam keep their military forces from misdeeds.

Islamic forces must keep theese rules.

'The women, the old and the weak shall not be killed.''The unarmed crerics in sanctuary shall not be killed.''Enemy's animals shall not be killed unnecessarily.''Wood with folige shall not be fallen.'

We are surprised to compare many disgraceful things in a mordern warfare to those rulles which were declared 1,400 years before.

After Muhammad(S.W.) migrated to madinah and militarilly back to Madinah, he conquered 1,500,000§´.

During this period just 150 non-muslims were killed.

Those who misunderstand Islam as a religion of sword should be ashamed.

Who can not keep peace in no-war period should appreciate to the Islam which practice a humane system.

The 5 pillars of Islam make us approach to Peace.

Islam has basically 5 pillars.

1. ½Å¾Ó°í¹é 2. ¿¹¹è3. ´Ü½Ä4. Èñ»ç5. ¼ºÁö¼ø·Ê

Islam invites us to the belief in God.

Who worship to God does not worship other god.

Human feels affections on both living and unliving things as our Creator made all things.

Yunus said 'Be tolerate to all creation of Creator. The tolerance is the essence of peace.'

Human have to be tolerate to all creation.

Destruction of peace is strife.

And the fundamental cause of strife is injustice and arrogance.

2. The best contribution to the peace is service.

5 services per a day plant us the sense of equality and justice.

Muslims stand shoulder to shoulder and attach their shoulder each other in service.

That can teach us that there is no difference between emplyer and employee, CEO and professor, poor and rich.

Standing on the same line and worshiping in same way enlightenes us we are all equal.

3. Fast crushes our desire of conceit.

Fast teached us how we are helpless things.

People can get the protection against arrogance under the fast and reconcilations can be done easily.

4. Èñ»ç : The biggest problem in a society is the differnstial between the poor and the rich.

Islam solves this matter through Èñ»ç. Èñ»ç is a social system to help poors with the riches' restorations of wealth.

5. ¼ºÁö¼ø·Ê¼ºÁö¼ø·Ê is a solemn example in which everyone gather in same attitude regardless of color, language and race.

Prayerers in same wearings and same ways throw away all unequal conditions and adore God.

How a colossal peace equality is!

It is the nature of Muslim that practicing 5 pillars in everyday lives and through it tasting the peace.

Such person can not like war.

Muslim cannot disibey the Creator or God.

The war of Muslim is waged against Satan and evil people.

Muslim don't have to querrel on meaningless things.

The nature of Muslim is Peace.

And Muslim don't acknowledge the oppression, unequality or selfishness which break the peace.

Actually a good Muslim doesn't quarel over material things.

He must get strong to save evil people who want quarel and to keep equilibrium and peace.

A good poet gave us good words.

"Prepare for warfare, if you want the preace and the reconcilation."

The best thing is the wish for peace in overcoming situations.

The best thing is not to wage the warfare though we can eadily win.

If we reconcile after defeating, there is not so peaceful thing as to forgive after defeating.

For example Muhammad(S.W.) who forgave all his enemies after conquest of Mecca A.D.632, is the most admirable person.

Muslim who followes Muhammad(S.W.) is the man practicing love.Muslim's worst thing is the enmity and best thing is the love.

A famoust Islamic jurist Yunus said : "Our name is Sufi. Our enemy is rancor. We cannot get the rancor against anyone. We think we are the one and equal."
