ROCKWIN KRAL SCREW VOLUMETER The measuring principle of the screw-volumeter is positive displacement. The measuring chambers are formed by two spindles, rotating inside a casing. The fluid to be measured flows in axially and causes the spindles to rotate smoothly and evenly. The flow rate measured is a function of the precisely defined volume of the measuring chambers and the number of rotations counted by an electronic pick-up. A comprehensive range of electronic signal conditioning and readout instruments, for use in conjunction with screw volumeters, is available. These electronic devices include Flow Rate Monitors, Flow Totalisers, Switching devices and Signal conditioning electronics, for local and remote transmission of the output.
