From the young age of five, Kristyn could spot people’s gifts. Her earliest recollection was of her grandfather’s remarkable talent to fix vintage valve radios. Quietly fascinated, she wondered how he could possibly know how each small piece is fitted together to create clear sounds of chattering and melody.

In a continuous state of wonderment at the magic of all these gifts surrounding her, Kristyn often pondered what her own gift was. It wasn’t until later in life that she realised that her most precious gift was her ability to inspire leaders to recognise and potentiate their people’s gifts.

Balancing out the Masculine to counter Disruption

Gender diversity is a priority for many organisations, as local and international research clearly shows that gender diverse teams best promote an environment where innovation can flourish. The percentage of companies new to the Fortune 1000 has grown from 35% in 1983 to 70% in 2013 and is trending upwards, whilst the lifespan of companies has fallen from 40 years in 1995 to 25 years in 2015. Combining these factors with the fact that 73% of people wouldn’t care if the brands they use disappeared from their life, it is crystal clear that growth and profits of established business are under great threat. They need to develop an innovation culture, where creative products and services are delivered at the record speed, which have never been more urgent in early times.

Organisations who begin the journey of developing a strong innovation culture know that failing, learning and innovating go hand in hand.
