Q. Who are these “Black Hats?”

A. 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Masons just like you. -Join as a “Sergeant.”-Serve the Valley and pass an open book proficiency exam to be made a “Knight.”

-Lead the Chapter as an “Officer.”

A. Support & Serve the Valley-Attract & Assimilate New Members-Encourage the Activity of “Rank & File” Members

-Serve as “personal” & “fraternal” connections between the individual and the Valley

-Perform Ritual Work: our namesake 29th

Degree, among others-Attend & Work at Reunions



Q. How do I join?

A. Ask for a Petition.-$100 accompanies the Petition.-Annual Dues $20 in subsequent years.-Chapter ballots on Petition at the next meeting.-As you join, you are installed as a Sergeant,presented with Glengarry, KSA Badge, Hackle, and Challenge Coin.
