Kube Marketing Policies and Procedures:

We expect that every time you serve as a representative of our company that your attitude and behavior reflect that of Kube Marketing.

Any further questions after reading this manual can be directed to your Market Manager.

We look forward to a successful year!

1. Booking Booking is done through email blasts sent throughout the week If you cannot work, no reply is necessary Reply with copy and paste of the entire event line or with the 6 Digit Event ID of

what you are available for. Directly after being booked you will also receive a confirmation email from the

system with every detail about the event. **IF you do not receive this within 5 minutes of receiving your “Confirmation” from [email protected]

1. Check your SPAM/JUNK Folder.2. Make sure you didn’t accidently delete it.3. If still nothing- let your Booking Manager know.

DO NOT respond to an event you cannot work- don’t EVER NOT show up to an event. – When you do this, you take opportunity from someone who wants to work, and also creates a huge headache for the store, client, Kube, and me.

2. Prepare for the Event Bring Required supplies

Recap Information (e-mailed when you are booked for an event) Table, Black Table Cloth, Ice Bucket, Wine Opener Sample cups, mixers, ice –(to be purchased with method of payment

assigned to the event within the confirmation email) Become Knowledgeable on the product(s) – If you need help with the, email

me.Plan on how you will decorate your table.

3. Enter like a Professional

Page 3: Kube Policy Procedures

Early is On-Time! Give enough time to locate product, set up, and purchase product.

Professional Attire Black pants or white shirt, black dress, closed-toe shoes, NO Jeans! – Proper

hygiene!When You Arrive

Introduce Yourself to the Manager Set-up in the most visible location- you are there to sell that brand! Inquire if there are any promotions on your product

4. Take Inventory Count beginning inventory and write it down. Only sample within the brand you are instructed to do. If there is an issue, contact your Market Manager immediately. Grab 3-4 more bottles to give to customers from your table whom want to

buy. o No need for them to look for it! Give it to them then and there to

put in their carts!

5. Purchase the bottle(s) you are sampling Purchasing Bottles for Your Event 4 Ways to Purchase Your Bottles (You are informed of how you will be paying

when you are booked) **Always snap a picture of your receipt right away. This eliminates the possibility of losing it.

1. Credit Card Authorization - Attached to your confirmation email. Please print

2. Comdata Credit Card- This will be mailed to you and used when specified in your “Confirmation email”

3. Borrow Bottles “DO NOT PURCHASE”- You will use what you need for your event, then give the bottles back to the manager to have replaced by their supplier.

If instructed to borrow the bottles- Politely let the manager know that you were instructed by their supplier to borrow the bottles for your demo, and that you are going to give the empties back to the manager to have replaced by their supplier.

6. Execute Your Event Know product information

Your job is to sell the product and to create a positive experience surrounding it.

Be friendly, smile, have fun! Make good use of the 3 short hours you have to really make a difference for our client’s product.

Check ID for anyone who looks under 40. (The year to look for is 1992)

Pictures Take a picture of your receipt (this saves a copy, in case anything happens to

the original). Ask an employee to take a picture of you and your display. Snap 1-2 pictures of customers holding a bottle and enjoying (but not

drinking!) a sample. E-mail these to your Market Manager- Title: Product, Location, Date of your

event. PUT AWAY YOUR PHONE AFTER THIS! Cell phone usage is strictly forbidden.

Store employees are not to use cell phones- neither are you! This really upsets clients!

DO NOT Drink on the Job You may sample the product you are asked to promote to better sell it, but

you may not drinkComply with Store Rules Also

You are representing their name as well as Kube. Promote The Product!

Create a dialog presenting 2-3 speaking points of the product. Present these points as you are pouring each individual sample. DO NOT Pre-pour

Ask probing questions to overcome objections. “What kind of wine do you usually drink?” “Can I help you pair a wine with an upcoming dinner, party,

Page 5: Kube Policy Procedures

holiday, gift?” Mention any sales on product Try not to open more than 1 bottle of each product sampled. Samples are about ½ oz each. Always Thank the Customer for Sampling

Stay the ENTIRE 3 hours! If you run out of product- “dry sell” for the remaining of your shift. Ending your event Clean up entire space, and thank the manager.

7. Completing Your Recaps This is the market data our client needs in order to understand their customers and how to improve their products. Please be aware you will NOT be paid if this is not completed. Your payment will

be delayed to the next pay cycle if your recaps are not turned in WITHIN 48 HOURS OF EVENT TIME. Please follow the simple rules for filling out your recap to prevent further complications and an easier pay out to you:

Please go to the RECAP LINK on your event ID email; sent to you when you are booked for an event. Example:

Your Event ID is: 0064000000YSZE2 NOT the 6 Digit Code used for booking

Submit Recaps:http://resources.kube.com/recaps-and-forms

Be sure to pick the CORRECT product name in drop down, if it is not listed choose ‘TBA” and insert correct name in the notes. Do not simply select TBA

Be sure to keep all comments and remarks on recap POSITIVE, the suppliers read everything that is turned in on your recap.

Be sure to upload receipts (to just one recap if uploading multiple) that require a sample bottle purchase, this can be done in the recap or by clicking the bottle receipt uploaded on the website

ONE RECAP PER BRAND/FLAVOR SAMPLED ie: Pinnacle Vodka Whipped & Chocolate- You must do one recap for whipped AND one recap for Chocolate

**In order to be paid for your event we NEED your recap and the receipt from your bottle purchase. Without these things we cannot invoice the event- therefore we cannot pay you.
