Project Summary / Challenges

Project Summary Kubo’s clients project required expert Medical Writers with specific experience and therapeutic understanding. Whilst the client has some internal resources, due to an increase in workload and imminent project deadlines they required additional resources. The client relied upon Kubo’s understanding of the therapeutic focus and timeline in order to identify expertise for both requirements. Challenges The main challenge associated with the client’s project consisted of unpredictable high peaks in workload. Therefore, by vetting a rich pool of talent, which is a time consuming although necessary task, ensured that the most appropriate resources, with the required skills and experience were identified. This tested the Kubo team to provide the best possible matches for the client to meet our internal “Introduction to Interview Ratio”.



Solution Kubo’s efforts included intensively resourcing and screening a high number of potential candidates through several interviews, technical and personal assessments and written tests to identify those candidates which exceeded our client’s requirements. Results Kubo identified a pool of Medical Writers with a minimum of 7 years pharmaceutical experience in writing regulatory documents such as lead author of clinical trial reports, Investigator’s Brochures or CTD summary documents. These skills surpassed our client’s requirements enabling us to provide the right amount of resource for their writing peaks to meet trial timelines. We liaised with client and candidates to ensure each resource was compliant with the necessary standards to perform their required tasks. Client expectations were to place 2-5 qualified candidates in 3 months. Kubo identified and placed all necessary positions with 100% Introduction to Interview to Placement ratio within our client’s timeline.
